Thanks Tova! I loved the Allure, I think because I felt as if it were my "safe" dress. With all the poof at the bottom starting above my waist line I didn't have to worry with my wider hips or getting into shape. (Well of course I need to get into shape because all of our family and friends will be seeing me in a bikini all week..) but I feel like the one I bought showed off my figure and had the poof at the bottom like the allure, it just started lowered at the bottom. In the Allure I felt very pretty and bridal.. but in the other I felt very sexy and bridal.. I'm wondering if the form fitting was just too much for A's stepmom?... :-/ I know it's my dress and it's all about how I feel, but I'm the type who always seems to want to please everyone else. I'll def see about trying on the Allure and mine just before going. I hope it makes me realize I made the right choice. Alex will kill me if I end up buying the Allure. He paid for half of my dress I chose without even seeing or hearing anything of it.. (He's a major sweetheart)

Okay Ladies.. I'm beginning to have a slight case of dress regret.. ( I found a dress I LOVED, Allure 8862, but the bridal store was rude so I went other places ISO this dress and to try on others.. then I found a dress that I thought was gorgeous but daring for me. I wasn't sure about it at first but my FMIL told me it looked amazing on me and after trying it on a 2nd time I was sold. Bought the dress on the spot and took it home with me. I posted it several pages ago.. But over the weekend my FI's step-mom and dad wanted to see my dress, so I showed them a picture.. I think they said it was pretty, but I can't even remember, all I can remember is they asked why I didn't go with the Allure 8862 when I showed them the pictures of both. I have the dress at home so I'm wondering if trying it on for my mom and my bridesmaids will make me feel better.. but I'm so torn now and feel like I may have made the wrong decision. (

I too did the same thing.. Mine were DIY Magnet STD's.. <-- FI hates when I abreviate that. lol As you can see our wedding website is to the right.. We had many people go to our site after receiving these. 2 people even booked before our Invites went out. )

We contemplated not using a TA... but I didn't want to be the one looking for rates for everyone.. Found out over the weekend, we have 2 guests that have already booked their travels other than us! ) Wooohooo! It's my fiance's step-moms sister and boyfriend... (I have never met her) Now how come the close friends and close families aren't on the ball like this?... lol But anyways, apparently they didn't use our TA.. Is anyone else having guests book through online companies, etc rather than using the TA you picked out?

But I can't seem to find that thread so I thought I'd create a new forum especially for these aisle runners. I'm hoping we can share tips, tricks and pictures. ) I ordered my rose petals from Ebay. There are 100 per package. Last night I started peeling and got about 600 of each color. So far I have almost a full grocery sack of each color. I'll post pictures tonight. Hopefully I can start affixing these to my tulle by Wednesday. ) (School tonight and tomorrow.) If anyone has already completed their aisle runners, I would love to see pictures! Also curious as to how many petals you had to use or plan to use. I purchased (2) rolls of 6 inch x 25 foot white tulle from HobbyLobby while it was on sale for 50% off.
