Thanks!!! We decided on moon palace... i've been searching for pictures, the good restaurants, activities, ect. So if you happen to come across reviews or suggestions, send them my way I've had some luck on the moon palace thread, but it's a lot in 5 days, especially with packing, work and easter coming up!

Everything is paid in full, except our add ons. We are litterally leaving in 5 days from today. They just called and told us we could not longer stay or have our wedding at the cove because they had someone buy out the resort. We have a child in our party, so that automatically means no spa. They did tell us they'll move us to another palace resort, but it's still a huge shock and very stressful.

They told me they will switch in May, but I wouldn't go until 30-60 days after that. They just cancelled our wedding 6 days before we are scheduled to arrive there and 10 days before the wedding. Needless to say they are having major booking issues crosssing over. They are currently trying to find a family friendly palace resort with avaliblity for our wedding and wedding guests to stay. Brides planning to book at the cove OR spa, give them time to settle into this change over. I know this is just my bad luck, but seriously this planning has been a pain since the beginning and this was the cherry on top.

haha! We booked the wedding last year, but we are trying to add additional services, which require a payment and contract from the WC. I guess my update is they've switched my WC from Maggie to Carolina. Believe it or not my fiancé and I aren't usually so easily annoyed, but this is our big day and we just thought the WC would be more helpful. I totally get they have other brides (such as yourselves), but they do this everyday, it shouldn't be so difficult to get someone to respond to requests for us to get a contract and for us to pay and them move us along to the next phase.

Yes, Yesenia is awesome! She has helped us so much and is so quick to reply. It's just the WC won't reply to any questions and I hate to take up Yesenia's time (since I'm sure she has her own work). You would think since they do have so many weddings going thru their office it would be no problem to move us along the path timely. I mean 38 days and nothing done, thats a little too close. It would be nice for the WC to at least send us the contract so we can pay for our wedding services and make sure we are booked for our wedding...

My wedding is April 14, 2012 and I have nothing planned. I guess just keep pretending it isn't as close as it really is! I'm just trying to re focus my attention on wedding showers and wardrobe! I know they are changing coordinators around and this resort is going to be a hard rock or something, but I thought they would be professional enough to not let those changes affect the weddings. Anyone looking at Aventura Spa or Cove Palace, now is NOT a good time to book a wedding with them...

WOW!!!!!!! I'm am so sorry to hear this horror story! It makes me VERY nervous that I will be traveling here in over a month!!!!! Looks like I need to pack bug spray, jet cleaner, and jelly fish ontiment and keep everything off the floor and electronics off the bed!!!! YIKES!! Thank you for all the warnings!! i'm sorry about your stay!!

Sadly, I feel a little better you just got your first call!! lol I hope you've had more response since you commented last... I'm 52 days out now and still have barely talked to Maggie. I can't wait, I'm so anxious! I'm a little embarassed to even say this, but I emailed her supervisor today about the lack of response. With all that being said, does anyone have pictures of the starlight terrace or the labyrinth terrace at Aventura Cove?

I'm also getting married at the Cove April 2012. I'm having the hardest time getting my Miami based coordinator to actually send me information and contact me. I'm 68 days out and haven't set anything up. Have you spoken to a coordinator yet?
