    Thanks!

  2. Enerlise, how is it going? Great job on getting back on that treadmill! Don't forget the first day back is ALWAYS the hardest. So anytime you finish an exercise you have never done or haven't done in a while, remind yourself, that was the hardest workout you will have and it will only get better from here.
Are you still doing WW? If you haven't gone to meeting this week, it is such a good topic, Why Tracking Works. I'm 4 1/2 months in to WW and after losing my initial 20 ish pounds, I started slacking. I have the gym thing under-control, as I am going about 5-6 days a week, but my eating habits have gotten a little worse. I am now trying to re-motivate myself as I still want to lose about 18 more pounds before our November 2012 wedding. (Totally do-able I just need to keep it off!)

So, let me know how you are doing! I am always here if you need encouragement, motivation, or someone to say bravo for your excellent workouts! Get it, girl! Don't forget, all the sweat, pain, and sore muscles will be so worth it on the big day :)

I could have lost more but hardly worked out and slacked off a bit after we got engaged...where was the logic there! lol lol

I hope to lose another 50lbs by the wedding! I need help and motivation ladies! I went to the gym today - first day back and did 45 mins on the treadmill. fast walk and some jogging. I hope to keep it up.

I want to start trying dresses on soon, but want to lose some more weight first....

  3. Hey WPGBride! If you are looking for something that you will see weight loss off of eating healthier alone, then you should totally try Weight Watchers. While, of course, they do encourage exercising they also understand that not everyone has the same schedule and that life is busy. I Started WW in October 2011 and as of yesterday (weigh-in day) I am down 25.4 and I just keep losing! It's seriously awesome. As someone who has struggled to lose weight for several years with no lasting success, I have found WW to be EASY.

It's not too expensive and you get a lot of freedom to make your own choices. Overall you just learn to eat healthier based on their guidelines, and it really works and teaches you how to live healthier.

If you have any questions about it, I would love to answer them. Hope this helps! :)

I work full time and am a full time student so I'm banking on sheer healthy eating to help me lose weight. I'm finding it difficult to work in any exercise during my days although I do have a Shapes membership (total rip off by the way). So does anyone have any suggestions? Especially for that armpit fat area and thigh/butt area!

  4. Thank you so much for all of your advice and tips! This task of picking a location is so daunting, especially since the FI has only been to one Palace resort ages ago. Thank you so much for your input, I can't wait to make the big decision. woot.gif I hope your anniversary visit is wonderful! Thanks again.

Playacar was beautiful, but after going there for a day from ASP, I was definitely glad I chose where I did.  We were not impressed by Playacars food or restaurant selection, and it didn't seem like they had much in terms of activities?  Although they have a beautiful beach and it has direct access to the town of Playa del Carmen, Moon Palace is a lot closer to excursions, and you can also visit the other cancun palace resorts (sun and beach palace) fairly easily.  Moon Palace is also 30-40 min. closer to the airport, which would make for easier travel to and from.

If it were my choice, I would hands down pick Moon Palace.  I feel like they would make for a better wedding and vacation location in the end.

I used tripadvisor.com to read reviews, as do a lot of the brides on here.  Hopefully that will help you?

  6. Awesome! That's great to hear! Have you ever been to Moon Palace? We are kind of stuck between Moon Palace and Playacar Palace, by if pp is small I don't know if I want to go there. I've hear Cozumel Palace is reallyyyy nice, not as beachy, but great for diving? Any other tips or websites you found for reviewing the resorts before you went?

Thanks so much for taking time to respond, I love hearing about people's experience first-hand! :)

  7. Hello, I am new to BDW and I am still trying to decide on my exact location and date of wedding. My FI and I are considering Mid-November (2012) in Mexico (Riviera Maya area). Can anyone tell me who was married this past November (Cheers to JoanneIreland!), how the weather was? I read that hurricane season lasts through November and was wondering if they encountered a lot of rainy days? Thanks so much for the help.

And ps- I LOVE your invites! You did an amazing job!
