Hey girls well I'm on my honeymoon but just want to say that my wedding was amazing!!!! Only downfall was that it was the coldest week in march in like history! It was hot during the day but cold at night... It was expected to rain on my wedding say which was very stressful as Lorena And Jorge begged us to move it inside but we refused. Guess what? I neve rained !!! But them beging us to move it the whole time before made me a nervous wreck so until I actually walked down the isle on the beach I was a ball of nerves and very aggravated. Stay calm tho because Lorena is a doll and she really did a great job! My beach ceremony was beautiful and so was my cocktail hour on the terrace. I highly recommend this because my guests are still talking about the terrace and the mariachi band! My reception on the deck and the music was better than I could have imagined honestly (we danced and kept warm lol) I will write a detailed review soon !

ahhhh leaving for drc in the morning trying to work out our money situation.... we obviously cant travel with enough cash to pay for everything so are we able to pay for the whole wedding with dreams on a debit/credit card??? I know i have to pay the photographer with cash, and i am not sure about the DJ... any tips on how to handle this ??

Thank you!!! So I made the mistake of checking he weather in puerto Morelos and it shows rain almost everyday I will be there when in the past eveytimeni looked it was all sunshine! I am so unhappy right now BUT then for fun I checked "Quintana Roo" and it's not as bad! Does anyone know where exactly I should be checking the weather to be right around drc?

thats awesome!! its funny i think i leftthinking my dress looking different also. when i first tried it on they put a poofy skirt thing underneath and i took a pic in it and went home staring at the pic so upset because i realized in pictures it looked bad... anyway all i did was call and tell them not to add the poof but i was still so scared until yesterday i swear LOL ( and my wedding is friday) haha

my wedding is a week away and i have to share this with you guys.... i originally had dress regret... i was on here talking about how i wish i tried more dresses & im afraid my dress is not actually beachy and too much of a statement dress lol then i went and tried more on but didnt love anything else... then i would come on here and see other beautiful dresses and think i made a mistake again.... i kept going back and forth!! everytime i went for fittings the dress was too big... i lost some weight and i have small breasts and when i first tried it on i had on a padded strapless bra. i realized i couldnt wear it after i purchased the dress because the back is too low and it would show. i have been upset and panicking for months that i made a mistake and was going to look flat chested and self conscious and mad that i didnt keep looking for other dresses... ANYWAY i went to pick up my dress yesterday after making them take it on more on top (and add push up pads) even after my last fitting and guess what ???? it fit perfectly. for the first time in this whole process i am NOT worried about the dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i feel a huge sense of relief and since it now fits for the first time i actually had THAT moment when i first tried it on i was excited and loved it then delt with nothing but dress regret after.... try and remember that until it fully fits you, it is hard to see the whole image. i dont care anymore that its a little much for the beach... its beautiful and it fit me like a glove. i had my moment later on;) lol also when i put my dress on if i had to describe myself i would say i felt "FUN" in the more plain dresses i didnt get that feeling and thats really who i am... so i think it is important to stick to something that represents you. if you try and get a dress that doesnt fit your personality i dont think u will ever really be happy with it. i posted a pic a while back and didnt take any new ones this time... if i can find the old one i posted ill do it again =)

hey girls, so i am getting my hair flower from the resort but i remember reading that its HUGE.. i asked lorena for a normal sized one but i am thinking i should bring a fake clip in white flower just incase? Mskykes was yours real?

Do i need to bring table numbers? I did my place cards but i dont have actual numbers to put out on the tables .....???? ahhh DRC should give a list of all the things they can provide that you dont have to worry about lol... sand cremony things, table numbers etc ... im lost on a few of these things!!

AH i am leaving in one week for DRC and I forgot a few small details LOL 1- i didnt get anything for my sand ceremony..... am i supposed to and where can i do this quick and cheap ?? 2- i never got a pillow for my ring boy!! ( going to look in a local store ) 3- I didnt put photos on a CD yet for my slideshow, but i am still not sure if i just bring the photos and dreams puts it together, or i bring them on a CD. . . still not sure... it is getting to the point where if it is not done- its not happening LOL i cant wait to be in that pool not caring about any of this!!!!!!!!! LOL

Hey! They are charging me 10$ a peice for the vases on each table ( so $40 total) and they are going to have tea lights in them. I am not sure how this is going to look lol,but I am taking a chance because part of my destination wedding excitement was not caring or spending a fortune on flowers and centerpieces that I would of in a wedding hall.... but it seems unavoidable. I am sure they are going to make the flowers in my centerpieces match the bouquets. I didn't even mention it but I assume they understand since the flowers are purple and white I am sure the centerpieces will match. I HOPE lol with my 2 70$ regular centerpeices and the $40 for the vases ill be spending 180 which isnt bad at all. Past brides have said to just remind themto take the bouquets right after the pictures on the beach. I am happy because the bouquets arent cheap and to only use them for the 20 minute ceremony and then some pics just seemed like a waste. I really hope it looks nice lol DRC is going to set it up for us the girls dont have to worry about knowing what to do. also the cocktail hour is in between so maybe during that time they finish all the final details and will take care of it then.

Past brides, did any of you mail anything to the resort? i just got my maracas in the mail from amols and i love them, but i have no idea what i was thinking. i orderred 50.. one for each guests' chair and they are in a huge box. i either have to mail them or have different people take a few in their suitcases lol.... help ! also i am traveling with our 3 year old son so itsn ot easy to add on too many extra bags... we have him and his bag and his stroller so yanno

I am using boquet #4 and i think the cost is 70$ however i am also using them as my centerpeices... i am paying 10$ for the vases and they are using the floers from the bouquets in them because i felt like right after the ceremony they would be put down and not used again. i am having 6 tables and 4 bridesmaids so im only purchasing two centerpeices and paying 10$ for the 4 additional vases.. just an idea

thats a really cool idea... we are only doing welcome cocktails but i will still try and work something out with them i think it would be nice to have some footage of our guests leaving us messages and so forth... thanx for the advice

Oh wow how dissapointing!! I booked 24 rooms for my wedding.... i deserve an upgrade LOL i guess we will see what happens. I am hoping to use the presidential suit on the day of the wedding to get ready however, i think thats typical but not guaranteed. i want to walk out from there, so if i don't get the room where would i walk from!?!?! ahhh and btw i love ur video u looked gorgeous and everything was soo nice.

I will tell you this, I used a travel agent who gave me her own package, but did get the actual room rates from the resort. Its hard to explain but we booked through her so we did not do the 3g promo, but obviously the hotel decides the room rates so she was in contact with them. anyway as time went on the room rates on websites like bookit.com and trevolocity for example were cheaper than the room rates the hotel gave our travel agent. She contacted them and they said there was nothing they can do since that was the price they already quoted her. a lot of my guests paid more using our travel agent and the rates from drc than if they would have just used a website. some of our guests waited longer to book and paid less on bookit.com. i guess it all depends. through the agent it is secure so i am glad we used one, but i was dissapointed that my guests paid more money for their rooms even though the rates dropped.

I spoke to Lorena about this and she confirmed that outside vendors are 150 per person BUT some there are no fee and this includes Mike Cantarell!! YaYyyYY i had already confirmed with him so now I will keep him. Seems like the prices are close anyway plus I will still get whatever is included in the video package from dreams since I did the ultimate package. I just emailed him to remind him since we confirmed so long ago.

Cesar or Mauricio not sure which is doing my wedding on March 1st. I didn't hear back from them for a while and I showed Lorena my coordinator and then finally he replied. He is waiting for my song list and told me he is definetly confirmed for my wedding. So if I were you I would tell your coordinator about it! He does still work there....

SAVS, i am in love with the picture u had all of ur guests sign... i know u posted the link and i went on it im just curious if i should email the girl and explain to her what i want? also what specific marker do i need? i definetly want one i think it will be great to hang up after! thanx for the great idea
