  1. We picked the date first and we knew it was so far in advance (13 months) that most places would have it available then we did our research on resorts.
  2. We're hoping to spend less than $18 with rings/honeymoon/flights/reception..EVERYTHING included..photographer and honeymoon/flight together are are $8500 already spent :-
  3. How far in advance did everyone start their diets/workout plans before their weddings??

  13. Do you think if I buy them now for December they will last??? This is a great deal. Thanks for posting!!
  14. I agree with Pucca. We sent out save the dates with our wedding website on them. We will be sending out a formal invite within the next few weeks with more guidelines of how to book, when to book by etc. Also look into paperandmore.com to get the pocketfolds themselves and create your inserts on your own or through vistaprint!
  15. So I ended up getting these because they were on sale, plus i had a 20% off coupon for kohls and they are similiar to what I wanted. I could not pass them up for the price!! These will be my reception shoes http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/candies_new/shoes/juniors/PRD~965931/Candies+PeepToe+Platform+High+Heels.jsp Then decided to get these because I also had a ninewest coupon that I got in the mail. They will be comfortable for the beach and it goes cute with the starfish theme that I am trying to do throughout the event http://www.ninewest.com/Nancita/8449278,default,pd.html?variantSizeClass=&variantColor=TURQUSY&cgid=5241467&prefn1=catalog-id&prefv1=ninewest-catalog
  16. I think that thats a great idea to rent a beach house!! Its probably less than a hotel! Good luck with keeping it under a $1000. My flowers for the ceremony and reception are going to run just about $800 alone
  17. I would definitely look at department stores first. It is that time of year were they do have lots of spring dresses and because it is Easter season you will find alot of white dresses. Keep us posted, I would love to see with what you end up with as your 2nd dress!!
  18. These came out amazing..and thanks for the heads up with the clipart..I will be making "thanks for booking" boarding passes and this will help out huge!!
  19. Zuniga/Deco Cancun gave me prices that were VERY reasonable. I will be working with them to set everything up for our big day in Dec 2012!
  20. Keeping you, your mom and family in my thoughts & prayers! Quote: Originally Posted by mrsjdh2b Good Morning Ladies- Well my wedding plans are being put on hold for a little while. My momma passed out yesterday (reasons still to be determined) and fell flat on her face. She woke up in a pool of blood. After several hours of tests, x-rays and ct scans there are no broken bones (we were extremely concerned about her nose) and just some minor whiplash from where her head bounced on the floor. Her face is badly bruised and she has a "razzberry" under her left eye from where she slid across the tile. Thank God there was nothing worse. But anyways I'm putting things on hold until after I get back from going home on checking on her. She's going to be having some test done on her heart to see if it was the culprit. She didn't experience any dizziness or wasn't light headed prior to passing out. So until I get her all fixed up I'm going to put things on hold for a little while......wedding can wait my momma's health is way more important! Can't have a wedding if she's not there. For the ladies that have been dealing with the set up fees.......do any of you have paperwork that states the $65 for the set up? I think our contract stated that. If so I'll be fighting for that if we decided to have more than the cocktail hour. Emma - you should qualify for unlimited private events since you already have 91 nights. You should be able to find it under the wedding amenities section on the website. I just looked it up. The only thing that is specified now compared to when the rest of us booked our weddings is the time allotted for each day. They only let you have 3 hours a day for events = one hour cocktail hour and a 2 hour dinner. You and your hubby will get 7 free nights as well. Congrats to you!!! I know we are all hoping for the same kind of turn out with our guest. Happy planning ladies!! I'm still going to be checking in on the site to keep up with everyone!
