  1. I'm not using a Jamaican photographer, I'm bringing one with me but originally I was looking at Michael Saab. His work is incredible best I've seen of Jamaican photographers but his prices are also higher than most. There's also misha earle. I hear her prices are reasonable
  2. Thanks ladies!!!!!! I did end up going with option 2 but thanks for the feedback!!! Just decided that I liked the subtle pop of purple better. Here's the finished product!!
  3. Hey ladies just wanted to say thanks for all your input! I decided to go with option 2... Here's the finished result!
  4. Thanks ladies!!! I think I am gonna go with option 2. The white cardstock is slightly textured and kinda shiny. So it does look a little pearlized but not as much as in the picture, I think that's because of the flash lol
  5. Yes!!! I got the frames from dollarama for $1!! I then spray painted them white and used a paint glaze and acrylic paint in dark grey to antique them!! It was super easy!!
  6. Yes I will be cutting the numbers out of cardstock. Most likely using the same font that I used to make the wedding banners. Thanks for the input!!!
  7. Hey ladies. I need help deciding how to do my table numbers. I bought some $1 frames from dollarama and antiqued them. Now I can't decide how to do the numbers. This is what I am deciding between but if you have any other ideas let me know! Option 1. Purple patterned cardstock background with white cardstock numbers (the white cardstock would be the same as used in option2) sorry didn't cut out numbers. I didn't want to waste the paper so it had to be imagined. Option 2. White cardstock background with purple cardstock numbers. (Same purple cardstock as option 1) Sorry about the crappy lighting.
  8. Hey may brides!!!! I'm looking for some opinions. Been working on my table numbers tonight. Bought some cheap $1 frames from dollarama and did an antiquing technique. Now I'm trying to decided how to do the actual numbers. Option 1. Purple background. The numbers would be in white cardstock (the same cardstock as option 2) Option 2. White cardstock background with purple cardstock numbers (same purple cardstock as option 1) Or if you have other suggestions. Sorry about the lighting. Taking pics at night in my apartment is horrible.
  9. I'm not sure how it works exactly for a jack and Jill. Here in Manitoba we have wedding socials in which case tickets sell for $10
  10. Lol not that far into Ontario. Northwestern. Red lake. Small town living here I come! Haha. Luckily Winnipeg is only a 5.5 hour drive away so I'm not too far from my friends and family.
  11. Ya I'm not too worried about the fittings I just keep puting it off in hopes of losing a couple more pounds. My dress is from the same shop that my maid of honor bout her dress when she got married. She only had a 5 month engagement and her dress came in 1 week before her wedding and her alterations went fine so I'm thinking if I start beginning of April I should definately be ok. Sorry to hear about your dress!! That really sucks but at least it is being repaired
  12. My gosh i totally feel ya!!! Only about 6 weeks to go!!! Still so much to do I haven't even started dress fittings yet!! I have ALOT of DIY left to do and on top of everything else me and my fiancé are moving to Ontario directly after the wedding. He already has a job there and has been there for the past 3 weeks, he home this week but leaves again on the 18th and won't be back till April 16th!!!!! So on top of all the wedding g stuff I have to do I also have to pack up our apartment so that after the wedding we move out.
