That sucks that it broke!!! Did you use the stretchy bead cord? And did you use bead glue to glue the knots? You have to make sure to glue the knots because stretch cord is plastic it doesnt like to stay knotted if it isnt glued.. I stretched mine out alot and they have yet to snap.

Awesome! What kind of stamps did you find to use on the bags?? That poem is lovely but i think i'm gonna try to think of something that references the feet... lol so people know what they are for. I just picked up some more beads to day to start working on the pairs for my bridesmaids and flowergirl.

Those are awesome!!! good job! ya im also making them for every female thats coming.. im still unsure exactly hot many that will be but just around 16-18 pairs i think. My that ive been using for them are ivory or clear, pink, purple and brown. Just doing different combos.. my wedding colors are purple, ivory and grey with burlap. Let me know if you come up with something for a poem.. ive been having a hard time thinking of what to put.

Hey erinmc!!! They really are super easy to make. You need some seed beads (which are really small beads), some larger decorative beads, stretchy bead cord (.5mm), and some bead glue for glueing the knots so it doesnt come undone. Start with about 2ft of the cord and hold each end in each hand (so a big U shape). Bead about 50 beads on one side of the U, they will all fall together at the bottom, this will make your toe loop. Then put both ends of the string together and bead a couple seed beads (or you can use your decorative beads) so that both ends of the string goes through the hole in the bead (known as double stringing). you can play with double stringing and single stringing the beads to make your pattern that goes up the top of your foot, measure as you go so you know how long to make it. Once its long enough separate the two ends once again and single string the beads on both sides until its long enough to go around your ankle then tie off, i double knot it. Then use a couple drop of the bead glue on the knot and when dry trim the excess string. Hope that helps!!

I picked may specifically because it's the off season and the prices are lower. Most DW insee are on the beach in the sand or in a gazebo so for menthe cliffs are what make my wedding unique and truth be told I hate the feel of sand under my toenails, lol, I knew I would bug me!! I didn't want my guests to have to pay too much but at the same time it is our wedding and not just a vacation so I wanted something nicer then the standard AI. Not that theres not really beautiful AI resorts out there but me and my fiancé are very private people and I just didn't want spectators.

Well there is 7 mile beach just 10 mins down the road. Maybe not for the ceremony but for pics after or next day TTD!

Hey shaeshae. I'm getting married at tensing pen on the cliffs of Negril. It's. A small boutique hotel with about 19 cottages for a total of 22 rooms. I booked in the off season cause the nightly rates are almost half. Each cottage is priced individually so it does fit alot of budgets being anywhere from 120 a night upto 460 for the 3 bedroom cottage which is great for families or if 3 couples want to get togethr and share (it has it's own kitchen and everythig). So some of the rates fall in your budget but some are higher. It's not AI but the rooms rates do include breakfast. I haven't got to into the actually wedding planning yet but expect to pay about 4g for the cocktail hour with appetizers and reception with 2 hour open bar. Our budget is about 15g but I'm sure we could cut alot out and that also includes bringing down our own photographer.

only 50 invites??? thats seems like alot for such an over the top invite.. these look like they cost alot of money for each one

Ok so i just finnished my updated invite with some minor changes as well as an idea for my rsvp... once again and suggestions would be helpfull not sure if i need to know my guests menu choice ahead of time but just in case i do this is what i came up with

i may have to steal your paragraph about gifts.... i was wondering how to word this as we didnt want any gifts but family is still asking where we are registering, but i felt putting where we were registered on our invite would be rude to be people who thought spending the money to attend is enough (which it is). I want them to know its ok.

on our invites we are not even listing our parents, they simpley state that we are inviting everyone. Ive seen many invites done this way. I have a thread on here with my first rough drafts of my diy invites if you wanna check it out

I would order them with her name. Im sure you have alreday felt about how she would feel if you ordered them without and even if she passes before the wedding.. screw what etiquette says, his moms happiness and feelings are more important. shes not dead and could still very well be there with you.
