  1. That's not cheap of you at all. I think the majority of us do one bag per couple/single. Most people come as couples. I think I only have about 4 singles bags and a total of about 18 bags
  2. I got my canvas totes from ingreetings.com I think they where around $1.50 each or something and I paid $18 shipping to Canada for 23 bags. But you can buy these same bags at michaels. I think they sell for 3 bags for $11.99. So with a 50% off coupon 3 bags for $6 is $2 a bag! Not bad! I just used iron on transfers to customize them
  3. SoonCb- good to know! Although I'm still kinda worried as I do know that a lot of the checks on people that are done are done because security just doesn't like the look of you. And well a lot my friends and family look like the type of people that would be upto no good (lots of full sleeve tattoos, piercings, gauged ears and what not). But they are all really good people
  4. I'm a little worried about preassembling my survival kits, putting it all in the bag and stapling the topper on, just worried that customs might tear them open checking for who knows what!
  5. Thanks Tulum!!!! I'm super excited about them! I should have them by next Friday so super fast production and shipping time
  6. I had previously purchased my cloth napkins from this site. Now I just purchased a table cloth for my cake table
  7. Stomach issues are possible at any carribean or Mexico destination. Not sure if its something in the water or what. Either way when travelling to those areas any doctors will recommend shots like twin rx for hep a and b or I think it's ducolax for travellers diarrhea. Obviously if there's a medication developed specifically for it it can be a common thing. My FI brother got married in the DR a couple years ago and none of them had any issues. If it worried you a lot get the mess and don't drink the tap water stick to bottled and don't eat a whole lot of fruit either
  8. True enough! I kinda like the coffee the idea. But now I'm thinking that with our OOT bags and the USBs maybe that's enough. I know my fiancé thinks so anyway and doesn't want to spend the extra money on candy!
  9. I'm getting them from ipromo.com. They are super easy to work with and the cheapest site I found! We are doing these as wedding favours but sending them out with our thank you cards after the wedding loaded with our professional pics.
  10. Eek just got my prototype pic of my custom USB flash drives!!! It's hard cause I can't share them with anyone except FI or it will ruin the surprise so I have to share it here. Don't mind it's a little blurry.
  11. Hey sooncb how is your off resort planning coming?
  12. Wow beautiful! I love the low back alteration you did. Great choice!
  13. WELCOME!!!!! And congrats! Have you decided where? As in Mexico? Jamaica? DR?
  14. Welcome Lauren2014!!!!! I am also a Jamaica Bride!!! Im not sure what your budget is or what their prices are like but i hear Sunset at the palms is really nice and because its much smaller (i think only about 80 rooms) they are definately not a wedding factory. And they do have a beach and kids are allowed. Im getting married at tensing pen resort. Its a 22 rooms boutique hotel with 1 wedding a week, but its not and all inclusive if that what your looking. Its also on the cliffs so no barefoot in the sand ceremony, but a on the cliffs overlooking the reef ceremony lol
  15. I agree that satin looks nicer however I don't they are very absorbent. I really have no idea though. Lol
  16. Hey May Brides! Just a question.. what are you ladies doing for wedding favours? Me and my fiance decided we are doing custom 2gb flash drives to send out with our thanks you cards and they will be loaded with our professional pics. Obviously these are 1 per family/couple/single. But we still want something small at the reception like candies. We were going to go with chocolate bars but then thought they will probably melt during travel so now i dont know what.. me and FI are huge chocoholics so any other candy seems weird lol
  17. Awesome!!! Invites is definately a huge weight off! And your wedding is just 11 days after mine!
  18. And thanks! I was already thinking of the whole small bottle of rum. Especially since we are not staying at an AI
  19. Toronto will definitely have a specialty store to get properly fitted. They won't be in the malls you would have to look it up in the yellowpages or something. Here in Winnipeg we have at least 5 of me and I would never shop anywhere else! If you go and get properly fitted you will be really surprised at your real bra size. I got fitted for the first time when I was 20. At the time I thought I was a 34C. Nope! Really I was a 28F. Try finding any size in a 28 band width at la senza or Victoria secret. Not going to happen.
  20. and check out this thread maybe it can help you out http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/48698/jamaica-photographers
  21. Your renewal is at sandals? Have you looked into their photography packages or if its already included?
