    lol ya now im a little scared... i checked the website, didnt see anything specifically about lanterns, but idid notice you can't bring matches..... how am i supposed to light my lanterns???

    ya i am bringing them in checked baggage, I havent seen anything that says no chinese lanterns.. but im in canada adn i havent actually really looked.

    alright sent!!! I sent 11.50 cause it charged me a .75 cent fee... not sure if you get charged on your end as well? but the 1.50 should cover it im guessing as mine was only 75 cents

    We are doing the welcome bags as well and handing them out at our welcome cocktail party. We are doing Jamaica canvas totes and filling them with the usual survival kits and what not. We are not doing a traditional wedding favour at the reception. Instead we opted to do post wedding wedding favours lol. We got custom USB flash drives made and we are sending them out with our thank you cards pre loaded with our professional pics from our photog. We are asking our photog to get nice individual family and couple pics and will customize the USB pics according to who it's getting sent to. This works for us cause everyone coming is really close family and friends. Here our USBs I love them so much!

    I'm a little confused with how to send money. I only have my Paypal linked to my credit card, not my bank account, so when you say no credit cards do you mean no credit cards through PayPal or not no send you our credit number to be charged?

    Not sure where the cheapest place is to buy the lanterns but as far as LEDs go I know those can be kinda expensive, if YouTube led throwies they are simple to make and you can buy all the parts on eBay super cheap

    Ok I'm going ahead and joining. I stepped on the scale for the first time in months and turns out I put on more holiday weight than I thought lol.

    I just bought mine from justartifacts.com They were $1.68 each for the 100% biodegradable wire free ones. Which I think is cheaper than the groupon deal

    I've seen that idea and I love it. I would just be scared of the frame breaking. Is it the place card hanging from the clothes pin? Do guests take that and sit where ever they want at the table? How are you doing entree choices?

    Sorry I didn't see this question anywhere, maybe because its a silly question but I haven't really been to any weddings so I have no idea. But anyways, traditionally are you supposed to do a master seating chart so guests know what table they are at and then have place cards at the table at everyone's individual seat? Or do you use the place cards as part of the master chart and guests choose their own seat at the table? Or is it fine to not do a seating chart and just do place cards and have everyone just find their seat? Sorry this is all just confusing me. I'm also not sure what to do so the wait staff knows the entree choices. What if people switch seats and not stay where I put them?

    Oh I forgot to mention that I bought 1/2 yard each of the satin and organza and 1/8 yard of lace. And I think I could easily get about 12-15 flowers out of that much material depending on size. Just to give you an idea of how much material to buy.

    You totally have to post some pics of the ones you make. I plan on using these a lot too. So far I have the 3 that I originally bought for my bridesmaids, either their hair or their dress. I will be using them on the ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, well pail actually. I plan on using smaller ones for my bride and bridesmaids hangers. And I've even debated on doing some in purple or ivory and purple mix and putting metal pins on the back and usin them on the cake!
