  6. Wow you ladies really seem to know what you are talking about when it comes to diets! I've never even heard of the paleo diet!? I don't know what my diet is or would be called if it is a diet at all but it has worked for me in the past. It isn't too drastic and fairly easy to maintain. All I do is limit my 'healthy' carbs to before 4pm and try to eat no refined carbs all, that is difficult when it comes to soups however. So things like oatmeal and and whole wheat bread and potatoes but only before 4pm. I also really increase my protein and of course lots of fruits and veggies and some healthy fats. So a day might look like..... Breakfast: oatmeal with agave nector, and piece of fruit Lunch: a salad with low cal dressing or simply olive oil and lemon with a can of tuna (I love clover leafs tuna in olive oil... So yummy) some cottage cheese, apple. I might replace with salad with a can of soup and add raw veggies Snacks tend to be fruit, yogurt, nuts, cheese, or veggies Dinner: a protein like chicken shrimp salmon or beef with a salad and a cooked veg, or a stir fry I ate this way a year and a half ago before going to the caymans and dropped 5lbs in two weeks with out exercise. Unfortunately I ate horrible in the cayans!!!!

  8. I had oatmeal and a blood orange for breakfast some soup for lunch. So far I did about 20 minutes of kinect adventures as a warmup and 20 minutes of just dance. Realizing just how horrible my cardio is as I can barely get through 2 songs I row. Lol. Thinking stir fry for dinner

  10. Definately not too late to join!!!!! Today is our first initial weigh in so you are catching it in time. The rules are posted above. $10 entry fee just Paypal Ann. Step on the scale and take a pic and send that to her as well. Good timing!!!
  11. I love number 1!!! Those are my fave and I think will go beautifully with the dress
  12. I think I will also post mine here. I am now officially at my highest weight since me and my fiancé met. I know it's still nothing crazy but to think that when we first got together I was almost exactly 20lbs less blows my mind. Even last summer I started at 125 and managed to get down to 120 with the help of some girls here from BDW but that was short lived. I knew I had gained it back but I think I was in denial that I gained another 5lbs on top of it, I haven't even worn jeans since Christmas, just been living in stretchy pants. Well that all ends today!!! I am now officially exactly 3 months out from my wedding! And I go for my first dress fitting in 6 weeks. I would love for them to tell me they have to take it in as it was fitting fairly snug. To lose 10lbs again would be great but i just want to feel comfortable in a bikini as I have zero muscle tone right now.
  13. Love hot yoga! Used to do it somewhat regularly back in the day. But where I'm from prices are ridiculous and now I just can't afford it. Too bad to cause when I did do it that was when I was at my smallest
  14. Ugh trying to clear my house of 'junk' food but don't want to throw it all away so of my last cheat meal of choice is a plate of perogies to finish em off. No more till after the wedding!
  15. I am also super ready!!!! I got my gym membership. I'm going shopping today to stock my fridge with healthy fruits veggies and goodies!!! And I got my wii and Xbox set up for some at home 'fun' cardio activity!! I am definately into some challenges!!! Don't think I could do a vegetarian challenge but perhaps I may join you in the no red meat.

  17. Hey may brides!!! I posted this in another thread but I would love to get your perspective. First is it customary to buy a gift for your flower girl and ring bearer if you have one? Second I have four kids coming to my wedding. Brother and sister (aged 7,5) my niece being our flower girl. And then brother and brother (aged 6,4) the 4 year old beinging our ring bearer. I would love to get our flower girl and ring bearer a gift as they are part of the wedding party. But then I know I should buy the other two as well as they would be upset if they didn't get anything. But then it starts getting expensive as I don't want to get them something small like a toy (I have already picked out a pandora shambala bracelet for our flower girl if we get gifts) I have no idea what do to as I'm torn between what I should do and what their parents migh be expecting and of course the money factor as we and running really tight and still have so much left. And also flower girl is easy to buy for but I have no idea what to get 3 little boys that is nice and they wouldn't wreck but still love.
  18. I know this thread is about bridesmaids gifts but I noticed Agm mentioned buying for her flower girl Is it customary to buy a gift for the flower girl and ring bearer? If so what are you ladies planning on getting them? I'm a little torn as I would like to buy for them as they are part of the wedding party but they are 2 of the 4 children there, the other two being their brothers. All four kids are between 4-7. I feel if I buy for the ring bearer and flower girl I have to buy for the other two as well or they will be upset.
  19. I also bought my girls silk robes. But different seller, silkqndmore, and they are beautiful!!! I only have two girls so they both got a dark purple robe that has a flower pattern and I got a white one within the same flower pattern.
  20. Definately some good choices. I'm some what stuck in the are as well. I do have some picked out but no idea where I'm using them yet. Harvest moon - Neil young Your song - Elton John Thousand years- Christina Perri The offering - the avett brothers Whistle for the choir - the frattelis Crazy love - van Morrison Signed sealed delivered - Stevie wonder Marry you - Bruno mars And so far that's it
  21. Oh my gosh!! I got my pics from Lucunawork on the progress of my guestbook. I am so in love!!!
  22. Ya I am also going with floral fantasies. Rose has been great to work with and their prices are so much cheaper. Just hope it doesn't mean lower quality work, but I have yet to find someone who has complained
  23. Oh on phew. We just have the coordinator and photographer. But the coordinator is from the resort so I don't think that counts lol
