We got married on the 24th. Used Simply Weddings Cayman Islands. You can find them on facebook with hundreds of wedding pictures. Stayed at The Reef Resort booked using VRBO.com Rained every day and even had to move our wedding from the 21st to the 23rd due to the storms. Here is a photo of my husband and I at Smith's Cove.

We have been here in Cayman since Thursday and it's been raining everyday . Our wedding was scheduled for today but we moved to Wednesday hoping the rain will settle by then. Just poured all day today!!! The Island is so quiet. Hardly any tourist. Maybe 1 cruise ship a day. Gas is $5.95 CI so over $7 US. sticker shock when we went grocery shopping. Seems everyone closes shop early on Sat. Nothing open Sundays except some restaurants. We've been staying at The Reef Resort East End and love it! 1bd with living room and full kitchen. All rooms are face the beach and are Just steps from the water. Fun thing to check out is the Shoe Tree on Southsound rd. I'm leaving my wedding flip flops there before we go home. Shoe tree is on Facebook for info. Watch out for the mass invasion of crabs on the road near the Blow Holes. You'll dodge at first then realize there is no way around them. So crazy! Praying for a peak of sun for Wed. Initially we wanted a sunset wedding with TTD tomorrow but now we probably won't see a sunset so going to do wedding in afternoon and do TTD same day. Rain or Shine!

I emailed Spa2Go and Heather charges $90 hair, $70 makeup,15% gratuity and $50 to come to you. Oh and thats all CI!!

Hi Everyone, My FI and I are gettng married May 21. Simply Weddings is our planners and we are having an intimate sunset ceremony at Smith's Cove. Mari Abe will be doing our photos as well as TTD session following day. We found a VRBO at the east end Reef Resort which cut our hotel cost incredibly! Glad to finally see current Cayman Brides on here. Look forward to everyones pictures. Anyone doing their own makeup? Pro Artist is not in the budget. : (

FI and I went to high school together. I didn't really know him back then or remember him much! : ) He had a crush on me my junior/senior yrs. I on the other hand was in a relationship and went on to marry that person and have 2 kids . After 22 yrs we divorced. FI was divorced with 2 kids as well. We became friends on Facebook of course and it went from there. I couldn't have found a more perfect man. All I can say is I love being in love with him! What a fabulous feeling!!!!!

Anyone having a Romantic Destination Wedding with no guests? Fiance and I have decided to have a Romantic Wedding with just the 2 of us. No not eloping!! 2nd wedding for both of us and taking that honeymoon neither of us had before. Family and Friends all support us and think what a great idea.
