No Prob! Also, don't forget, if you have a wedding package, you get a percentage off spa services! I am getting 15% off because I have the Love package.William was kind enough to remind me of that. I am paying for my MOH's hair & make-up and mani/pedis for the moms. If you are all paying for things seperately, then only YOU will get the 15% off.

This is the email address yamina gave to me: [email protected] I emailed them to make an appointment for my hair & Make up and they (William) responded the next day. I've also had a few other emails back and forthw ith WIlliam regarding mani/pedi appointments for me and the moms. The responses have all been within 1 day for me. Hope this helped

I just got an email from Yamina yesterday and she didn't mention it to me either. Humph. I really liked her! But i'm sure everything will still go smoothly. I have all my info organized in a spreadsheet that I planned on bringing with me to my meeting with our WC when we arrive, but i'll make sure to print the emails too just in case.

I was asking Yamina about the style of our ceremony and vows etc and she told me to contact Linda because she would doing our ceremony. You could ask her for the choices. I think I got lucky, I read on here that Linda is great! Her email address is: [email protected], but maybe you should ask Yamina about her first to see if she is even available for your day/time.

You should schedule a rehearsal. I asked Yamina if we could do ours the day before at 3:00pm and she said "Sure!". I've also emailed the officiant, Linda to ask her to come as well. and of course, my dad, the best man, the flower girl and my MOH. I'm thinking the whole rehearsal will take a few minutes, then we go back to the pool

I am doing OOT bags, so they will go in each one. I think you have 2 options: 1. Maybe you could email the welcome notes to your Wedding Coordinator and ask her to have them printed and given to the front desk. Then maybe the front desk could give them to your guests either when they check-in, or they could leave them in the rooms 2. Print them on nice paper at home and bring them with you. Then take them to the front desk yourself and ask that they be distributed upon check-in or right in the rooms.

I only have a maid of honor my sister. I wanted to get her something personalized that she can use at the resort as well as when she gets home. I browsed her pinterest page and saw that she wanted a really expensive pair of sunglasses, so i got them for her. I am also buying her hair and make-up. maybe a pair of earrings also.

Different Bridesmaid Gifts
RollerBride replied to gonnabmrsg's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I only have a maid of honor, my sister. When i asked her to be my maid of honor, I got her a beach cover-up that says maid of honor. I will be paying for her hair and make-up. I think I will get her a pair of earrings for the ceremony. Since I don't have a huge wedding party, I don't need to buy 4-5 of one item. I had a hard time of thinking what else to get her, so I went on her pinterest to see what she wants! I found out she wanted a really expensive pair of sunglasses, so I got them for her. hope this helps -
Couple questions about the sand ceremony. 1. Does the resort provide glass bottle for you to take the sand home in? 2. is anyone bringing their own bottles? are you bringing colored sand? 3. will it travel ok? can you bring sand back into the US? As much as i'd like to order some commemorative bottles for our sand with our name and wedding date, i'm not too sure how i feel about bringing that back to the States.

Does anyone know if we are able to lower the guest count on the wedding? I'm pretty sure we signed a contract saying that were would have no more than 40 people....and we are paying for 40 people. But can we change that? I gave Yamina our final head count of 36 people a few weeks ago. I'm mildly stressed. We are 57 days away from our wedding and we have people who RSVP'd but have not booked anything yet! I've reached out to them many times and they are ignoring me. I'm not too sure what to so. These aren't 2nd cousins that I never talk to...I'm talking about our BEST MAN! and MY BROTHER! Basically I'm afraid our guest count is about to drop to 30 people and I want to know if I will still get stuck paying for 40 people?

We are paying the extra money too for a big dinner. It stinks but it was really important to us. We live in CA. My family is in Philly and his family is in Florida so no one has met. We wanted to make sure we would be guaranteed a big table to ourselves, rather than showing up early together and hoping for the best. I told her we did not need a private room or anything (that is $35/pp). This is what I asked Yamina and her response is below that: We would like to pick the location for our Rehearsal Dinner (8/2/12 @ 6:00pm). What are our restaurant options to accommodate a table for 20 people? Will it be a pre-set menu? or will we be ordering off the regular menu? For 20 people, you can order from the menu. You can have this dinner on the terrace of the Oceana Restaurant (seafood) or, in the terrace of the Himitsu Restaurant (Asian). Let me know what do you prefer
