Yes this one is one that inspired me to take the plunge with these colors. Here is the draft of my invitation (it says save the date). I don't have the final one on this computer. I'll keep posting as I get a chance to upload. Also the RSVP cards and table numbers. The final ones had the same orange color on them, but I have been varying the purple, sometimes it looks for pink, but I'm really enjoying the colors. You have to be more creative because it's hard to buy stuff that is already orange and purple!!! But with Spring and Summer around the corner, I am seeing much more out there!

I will probably be leaving on January 15th or 16th. Haven't figured it out yet, but I have class on the 14th, so I can't leave any earlier than that! Will you be staying there for your honeymoon? Maybe we will run into eachother. Yes, please give me the run down. Let me know which one is the best bar!! This way I can make this the meeting point for my guest when we decide to meet up! I will not go down for a site visit, unless there is a flight special! But nothing so far. Maybe in the summer during hurricane season!

I"m so so so bummed! My TA gave me a range for group booking that is not what I expected and the rates are way higher than the range I had set!!! I think I am going to have change resorts! right now it seems that my guest will pay about $210 a night and children $70/night!! What is everyone guest paying? Any input would be great...because right now all I can think of is switching to Dreams Cancun where it is cheaper!

looks like I might have to change my wedding to dreams cancun for January 2013. What date do you have beachwed? Does anyone have the room rates they gave them for group?

Couple is presented to each direction for their blessing A direct connection to the earth - participants are barefoot, on the sand, candle and props are on the ground flower petals representing the gifts of the gods (a different color for each direction) - the couple is sprinkled with the flower petals candle - represents your commitment, it is lit at the beginning of the ceremony and burns throughout the entire ceremony. The ceremony is stopped so that the candle can be relit if it ever goes out. At the end of the ceremony, each guest is given an opportunity to offer the couple their good wishes or words of advice active participation - guests are given musical instruments and celebrate the blessings after each god blesses the couple

I think it depends. If you are going to do a resort..I would say no! But you might consider if you are doing it outside of a resort.

Most resorts only give you 3 hours but you can pay for additional hours if you use their indoor options. However, if you are going to do that you can also look into beach clubs such as Blue Venado, Grand Coral, Blue Parrot, etc. you can search beach clubs or you can look into villas as well.
