  1. hello Nikki 2014 Riviera Maya has beautiful Beaches, I would advice that you make sure your location has a plan b in case of rain. to minimize your from getting overwhelmed, ask yourself few questions such What are you expecting from a resort. does it have to be all inclusive? family friendly or adults only. Or maybe your are looking for a non resort location. semi private or completely private?. and how much are you looking to pay per person per night?. These will help you narrow down some few favorite. If you may have any questions please feel free to ask and I will be happy to help. Joyce
  2. Hello LCB803, Have you considered Grand Coral Beach club for your reception? its pretty much secluded and just next door from Chapel del Carmen. The chef is very flexible with menus and drinks. 3. Hello MarisaC, Congratulation on your engagement and you have found a perfect wedding site! My advice to you is try to make a wish list of what you expect from a resort/hotel you want to host your wedding. ask yourself the following questions: What is your budget? How much do you want your guests to spend for the resorts? Are you looking for an all inclusive? Are looking for family friendly resorts or adults only? once you have narrowed down your top 3 resorts, then you can decide to do a site inspection. or other option could be choosing a non resort site. Feel free to ask me anything and I will be happy to help!

  8. As time goes on more and more couples would love to move away from gift registry. So you're wondering if it's okay to ask your guests for cash gifts instead of having a registry full of traditional wedding gifts? Well don't worry, you're not the only couple wondering, in fact it has been reported recently that just about 35% of couples will be or would like to ask their guests for cash gifts or vouchers, instead of gifts. There are websites and services cropping up all over offering the bride and groom several different ways to present this option to their guests in a way that is not rude, tacky or too forthright. When you think about it, it makes more sense to give the gift of cash or vouchers to your happy couple to be, because it can be used towards a big purchase such as a family car or towards a down payment for a house. The best thing to do if you know you would prefer cash over gifts at your wedding is to start to spread the word among your friends and families. Here are some other helpful ideas: Register for Travel Vouchers Several agencies and websites are now offering this option to couples to help plan their honeymoon trip. Check out honeymoons.com for more info. Register for a Cash Gifts American Express now offers gift cards for weddings and have it nicely packaged in a gold envelope. This can be listed on the registry. One great example that incoporates both of these ideas quite nicely is a website called weddingrepublic.com. Brides and grooms can start a wishlist through the site, asking for guests to chip in on a honeymoon, home renovations, romantic dinners, or whatever else they may want. Guests will even be given the choice to contribute a portion of their cash gift in different areas if they choose. After the wedding, couples can close their registry and cash in their chunk of change. Are you asking for money or going the traditional way? Let us know! 9. Hello Kim02242012, From the Royal to Kool beach is 150 meters on the beach or taking 5th av would be 400 meters, and what most fun about walking on 5th you can choose to have mariachi to escort you and your guest. its super fun all your guests will love it!! Then at the end of the reception to walk on the beach since it would be quicker, playa is safe, as a precaution its always good for your guests to walk in groups that late. Hope this was helpful Feel Free to ask me anything and I will be happy to help Joyce
  10. Hello Kristen, I hope this helps, If you gather your preferred type of linen and flowers, and send it to the coordinator from the hotel to make sure they get what you want or do make sure you check with them if they allow you to bring in outside vendors at no extra costs. usually if you want something simple it would be easy for them to get it for you. Feel free to ask me anything Happy Planning

  12. Hello NikkiJ I hope this information helps and that its not too late. Since I have done few weddings at H3R, their package explains it all. I would suggest if you want the lower rates from H3R best to have a summer wedding, but keeping in mind that we sometimes get lots of rain in the summer. the good time to book really is anytime. It doesnt matter how well in advance you book, what matters most is which season your wedding will be held. Group rate will apply only when you book minimum of 10 rooms , with an extension group rates apply of 3 nights prior to the wedding and 3 nights after. with the 5hours dinner included basically what they mean here is that: 3 course dinner, plus 5hours of open bar. when all your guests are staying at H3R you only pay $20 per person for the wedding reception. no extra costs You can use their prefered vendors or choose to bring in your chosen vendors at no extra cost. I would suggest getting a Travel agent, since you will already have enough on your plate with planning and TA is a great help, BDW has a lot of good ones. I would suggest getting a wedding planner especially if you are looking for better quality and good prices. If you need someone to make sure every detail is taken care for. This is a route to take. I love H3R, it a family friendly resorts, beautiful and affordable. They have a wide variety of wedding site. Feel free to ask me anything Happy planning
