Hello EmmA1025, As wedding planner here in the Riviera Maya, I can advice you that Feb to May is in the high season, if you do not mind the heat, you can choose a month in the summer, make sure you do not choose it around the same time as summer break, the is too much crowd. Ask your TA to quote you on resort plus airfare. Also ask her to send you quote on Playacar Palace and Hacienda Tres Rios, they have good deals usually. Hello meems, As wedding planner here in the Riviera Maya, and have had most of my brides get married at Grand Coral, most of them have been staying at the condo hotels right here in playa del carmen. El Taj and Aldea Thai, and as for transportation I normally arrange them vans for pick up and drop off. Hope this information was helpful. Happy Planning Joyce

  6. Hello BridevanB, Wedding planning is so much fun especially when you have the right people assisting you. Here is my advice if you ask yourself the following question, are you looking for an all inclusive resort? does it have to be family friendly or adult only? do you want to be close to 5th avenue or a little bit outside? what is your ideal budget for your guests to spend on their rooms. There are good TA on here that would be happy to assist you in meeting your expectations. I would suggest in looking into playacar palace and Hacienda Tres Rios. As wedding planner/ coordinator in the riviera maya, we do have special relationship with our preferred vendors and most of the time we make sure we get our brides the best value at a good price. We can sure suggests you our mariachis, but do remember that your resort will charge you a special fee for having outside mariachi coming in. sometimes its not worth it to actually go through that to find the price will almost me the same as what they charge you directly at the resort. Hey Yossimeyer, I love Playacar Palace, since its any all inclusive and has beautiful grounds, kids friendly with great prices, turquoise water and white sandy beach, plus its in walking distance to the famous 5th avenue. Hey Shrandle, Hope that this information can help about narrow it down to 3 resorts and with that information take it to a travel agent(BDW has some great suggestions on TA) will help your choose a resort that best describes you. Do remember that March get booked up quick,since riviera maya still has the best weather at that tine. How about Playacar palace? I love it that its an all inclusive and they have prices that could work with your budget and its kids friendly with good rates for them.   16. Hello Ruefce13, Welcome to the forum! As a wedding planner in the Riviera Maya, I would advice you on the follow, As you may know, there are lot of all inclusive resorts in playa del carmen. Ask yourself the following question: are you looking for a family friendly all inclusive? does it have to be right in town ? are you looking for a resort that provides activities for their guests?how important is have clear beach? what budget do have in mind for your guests? Do you want to have your wedding on site or off site?. Try getting a TA if you feel it gets too overwhelming, try to have 3 resorts options not more.   19. Hello magikstarrynite7 I hope this helps, How about trying to have you ceremony at location that can meet both your needs! Hacienda Tres Rios has a cenote area for your ceremony, and maybe have a beach reception. It really has some beautiful grounds. another option can be to have both the ceremony and reception in this beautiful cave restaurant called Alux. If you want to keep things completely off the beach.
