  1. Hey LisaAnthonyPoppy, I must say its pretty common to pay up front with most Vendors. in the area, and trust me they do show up. how about you mention to the specific vendor that you are not comfortable with paying all up front, and see if they would be ok with receiving the rest of the payment on your final meeting with them. it my turn our they are ok with mending their contract. Happy Planning!

What i know is that some time the karisma hotel may charge a fee when you bring in an outside coordinator. I advice you to double check with the hotel if the is a fee for this. you can email us any time weddingsinplayadelcrmen@@gmail.com
  8. hello jh0510038, I would advice you to look at the reviews from each DJ on here. We have worked with pretty much all of them, Go with the DJ you feel comfortable with or connect more with.

  10. Hey Lisajgarcia3, It its really sad to read your posts because no bride should experience this. We are wedding planners in the Riviera Maya, I know you can never get your day back, and it sounds to me that you and your planner did not do a lot of communication prior to the wedding. so many things can be avoided when the is a greater communicate between bride and planner. Also ask questions even if you thing its silly because it may actually be important for your wedding. I wish you a happy marriage
  11. Hello Lalachka, its really interesting to see most of our Canadian brides, love the Grand Bahia hotel , but surprisingly they have their wedding at off resort locations. this maybe something to consider depending on your budget. Happy Planning
  12. Hey LauraM, Congrats on your upcoming wedding, honestly May is such a higher demand with wedding in Riviera Maya, I would say the sooner the better to book your vendors its, always great to plan things without a rush. I am sure you already know about the outside vendor fee of the beach palace. Make sure you go over their in house vendor list and start contacting the vendors directly to book. Be patient I am sure the wedding coordinator at the hotel will get back to you, they usually have a time frame 72 hours to answer your email.
  13. Hello Ladies, Another hotel to consider , that really offers a lot is Hacienda Tres Rios. packages are so worth it and the accommodation too. Goodluck and happy planning!
  14. Beautiful, you really were serious when you said you are very crafty person. Well Done
  15. Hey Krystinsanche37, The months you choose are actually one of our best months weather wise, its not too hot, and if you are getting married outdoors , you may want to consider maybe a later ceremony like 5:30pm the sun should have mellowed down and the sea breeze in place.
  16. Hello krystinsanchez37, We are wedding planners in the Riviera Maya, I always tell all my clients If you are looking to have your wedding at a none resort location then , do yourself a favor and hire one for you will have a stress free planning and it will guarantee someone taking care of everything on the day of the wedding. On the other hand if you choose to go with a resort, all of them offer an onsite wedding coordinator that can help with your wedding. It really depends on you as a person how you want all your planning to be handled. Lucky you, for being able to visit before hand , so you can always arrange to meet with vendors.
  17. Hello jeffandrobyn, Lucky you as you are able to visit before your wedding. As a wedding planner in the Riviera Maya I would honestly say its not necessary to meet with them especially since you can always arrange a skype meeting with them before your wedding. I am certain you will book a photographer and DJ that best fit you. Happy scope venue

  24. Hello hyoungquist, As wedding planners in the Rivera Maya, The best way is for you and your fiancee to sit down with your SIL and explain to her she can invite her friends but they cannot come to the events planned by you. explain your vision to her, especially since this is really your day not hers. I would definitely move dress to your sister´s place instead.
