show us your rings!
2ndtimesacharm replied to NABUMBAH's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Here's mine. LOVE IT!!! I am having a really hard time finding a wedding band I like though. I love the arch of this ring and don't want to block it with a band. Any suggestions? -

haha Good question! I was thrilled with my fiance's choice. He knew I didn't want anything too large but it's not small either and the setting is gorgeous. I had looked at rings with him months before he proposed and didn't see a single thing in the store I liked. How he knew what I wanted when I couldn't even find it, I don't know! However, this is my second wedding and I can honestly say I wasn't thrilled with the first ring. I guess it's easier to say that now though! -

Well, Frugal Bride, I think you did an amazing job!!! Beautiful start to finish!! Congrats! -
Melissa - everything looks FABULOUS!!!! I adore your Mexican-style lettering that you used on all your paper products. You two are very creative. Seeing pics from AS gets me really excited for my day to get here! So glad everything turned out well for you guys and thanks so much for posting your pics. Do you remember what Etsy vendor you bought the earrings from? I'm having a hard time finding what I want and I really loved those. Thanks!

Can you tell us which Etsy vendors you bought from? I'm most interested in the hair flower and bracelets. THANKS!

Hi ladies, Just wanted to show the engraved mason jar we got off Etsy for our sand ceremony. I was looking at some really expensive frames and vases and when I saw this I knew it would be perfect for us! We are planning on putting sand from Mexico in it plus my 2 kids will add their 2 colors of sand. Here's a pic (sorry it was hard to get a picture of clear glass!): Here's the link to the Etsy vendor (awesome to work with!): http://www.etsy.com/listing/89618276/customized-your-own-mason-jars-etched

Hi Eva, We're having our ceremony at 6pm but we're going at the end of June. My TA sent me the time for sunset on that day (how thoughtful!) and it's a little after 7:30pm. You should check that for your day and see if 3pm might be a little too early. We had planned on 5pm, which I still would prefer, but the resort couldn't get the minister for that time. Dori

We are only having 15 at our wedding so we're having our dinner at Spoon. This is what my wedding coordinator sent me for the set menu: SET MENU REST. SPOON Ensalada cesar tradicional con queso parmesano, anchoas y croutones Traditional Cesar salad with parmesan cheese, anchovies and croutons Sopa vichyssoise, crema de poro y papa Vichyssoise soup, cream of leek and potato Steak au poivre Filete de res a la parilla con salsa de pimienta Steak au poivre grilled Angus beef tenderloin with pepper sauce Or Suprema de pollo a la BBQ de guanábana y verduras rebosadas en tempura de cerveza Guanábana barbequed chicken breast of with tempura vegetables Opción vegetariana Vegetarian option Pasta penne con vegetales asados Penne pasta with grilled vegetables Postre del dìa Dessert of the day She also said guests are welcome to use the buffet part of the restaurant as well, which is good for the 4 kids we have coming. Here is the picture she sent me how they section off the area for semi-private events: Somewhere I read that the tables will be setup for groups of 4-6 but I just sent a picture of how I wanted our table setup for all of us and they didn't seem to have a problem with it. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much!!! These pictures are very helpful. It does look very plain without the shears. We were going to use the yoga palapa for the ceremony but they pushed our time back to 6pm so I decided to move it to the beach. We'll be having cocktails before the ceremony at the yoga palapa. Thanks again!

I am new to this forum and am planning a June 26, 2012 wedding. We have a group of only 15 going so our plans are pretty basic. I'm scouring the internet looking for pictures of the beach gazebo decorated without any shears. Did any of you do this for your wedding? If so, can you post a pic? I do love the colored shears they have but am not happy about spending $100-150 for EACH shear! Not after shelling out $800 to use my own photographer. UGH! I have ideas for what to hang on the corners of the gazebo but am worried it will look too plain without anything on top. Thanks! ~Dori
