I LOVE this idea!!! Where did you purchase these? How do you plan on getting them all there safely to your destination?

Hi ladies! So after looking into my resort's flower selection, I was pretty underwhelmed. Especially for the price they want to charge, I began looking into other solutions. I have seen amazing real touch bouquets on here posted by many of you. Here's your chance to share pictures of your favorite real touch flowers, ideas, and vendors!

Wow!! Great job I wish I could do this for all my guests, but it'll be way over our budget -expecting 100 people eek! A month out from you big day, wishing you best of luck to get through the next few weeks!! Take it easy, don't stress anything, enjoy the ride We're also getting married at the AS, can't wait to hear all about your big day once you return!!

This is a great question- I've been wondering the same. I wonder also if you rent from an outside company, if the resort charges for you to bring it in for the night. Hope some ladies have answers

So not sure if I posted here yet, but we changed our date and it seems our new date MAY 18TH, 2013 is super popular in this post LOL Congrats to you all ladies, and can't wait to share our save the dates with you, once my tired hands finish cutting them all [whoever said this was fun was lying LOL] So what is everyone working on for next year's festivities? Everyone have their STD's sent out, any ideas starting to flourish, when are invites going out? Post your feedback so we can all keep track of what's going on =)

I wish we could exchange the flowers included in our package for other amenities. After seeing this post & many other websites, these real touch flowers are really amazing! I'll find somewhere to put the real flowers that I don't like or want for our wedding, maybe in our rooms to decorate a bit for when the photographer comes??

Thanks for the help JayKay =) LOL I don't think I'll be doing anything adventurous before the wedding, with my luck I'll hurt myself haha I think a welcome party would be great, and i like how you didn't make it formal that guests felt pressured to come. Thanks =)

Hi there!! When we went for the dress reheasal trip, upon check-in we were given a package of info- Restaurants, map, things to do, other amenities, etc.

Seems to be everyone on here has more complaints than thrill for DW! I firmly AGREE 100%, I feel their business has become so corporate, they forget the reason they're doing their job. We were working with DW.com and another agency. DW never responded in a timely manner, and always seemed to not answer my questions. When she kept recommending a certain chain of hotels in Mexico I found out it was b/c the were partners with them and obviously they get More $$ for booking. BUT, when we requested some rates to see how great their offer was it was HIGHER than the free agent!!! I was appalled how slow their response was and how we had so many hurdles trying to find the right place and our agent just kept ignoring it and recommending other places to us. I don't know what I'd do without her!! She helped us to find the very best location and date, we were down to one date that was available, and we had to take it knowing it was only a symbolic ceremony. She called back two days later and got another date that was PERFECT for us. She's attentive and answers within MINUTES of me emailing her- and no matter how many emails we send back and forth she always projects enthusiasm and happiness for our big day- a big difference from DW. Not on bit of emotion in any communication we had with DW. I felt it was so impersonal and when I stopped replying to DW before I had a chance to explain we'd like to end this relationship, the rep left me a voice mail saying "just want to remind you I have 23 years of experience and I'm a great listener" I'm sorry, I don't care how much experience you have, because you weren't even worth the $50 deposit! I don't even think they refunded our money, but honestly I'm so fed up with them I'm glad we parted ways. Listen to the other ladies above as well as myself, don't go with DW it will give you an even bigger headache than you may have already from stress of planning.

Hi Ladies! So we're thinking about other events besides the big day. If most guests re making a vacation out of their trip to Mexico, do you think it's OK to have another event a day or two before the wedding? I think it would be nice to have a welcome cocktail party so everyone can meet & mingle. But, some people I discussed it with think it will take away from the precious time our guests have to enjoy & relax. I don;t think it's asking for much for another two hours right ? Or instead of a cocktail party, we're thinking maybe do an excursion or trip to the main town. What do you think?

Hello ladies!!! So now that I've booked the date & place [sensatori, of course!] we are looking into vendors provided by the resort. We'd rather not spend an extra $800 for an outside vendor, but it depends on how great their house vendors really are. Can anyone let me know who the "house" vendors are for DJ & photography? I'd appreciate it!!! Thanks

Hi Ladies! We've had a bumpy road the last two weeks- BUT after booking the "only" available date which was May 10th for symbollic service only, we heard of an opening. Our new and offficial [legal] date is May 18th, 2013!! Thanks for sharing these are lovely!! I think these "real-touch" flowers are becoming more & more popular. Real flowers don't last very long in the heat & humidity, and the resorts charge a TON. One quoted me $400 for MY bouquet ONLY!!! If I'm spending that kind of money, I'd rather it be on something I can keep forever or pass down.

It was #81 pearlescent peach. I used dark purple font which could be why you can see through it. I'll see how the heavier one prints & if the color remains as vibrant- if not I'll stick with the #81 as these are just my save the dates =)

Yes the #81 is a good weight, but I have two boarding passes and you can see right through the first to second. I ordered the next weight higher and we'll see how heavy it really is when I receive it. I'll let you know how it goes thanks =)

I think this is another option we'll be doing as well [pix before ceremony]. I know many couples, DW and not, that have started doing pix before the ceremony and loved it! It allows you more time to mingle after the ceremony and gives you time to enjoy the "celebration" part of your special day- without being rushed around. My cousin who had married here in NY did pix before and it was really sweet how the photographer had the bride & groom meet for the first time on their wedding day. He had the groom stand in front of a mirror and the bride walked up behind him and was told when to open his eyes. It was beautiful, I only happened to catch a peek of this b/c it was next door to the bridal suite! So it's intimate and you have your special moment together before you get to do it again in front of your guests. So I think either way it will be special to you. Either way you decide it will work out =)

Bubbles - I'm sure you can find out any legal issues or formalities online, check on your city hall page or government page. I'm sure it lists requirements for all types of situations. I cannot offer any advice since my FI and me are both in the same state! I'm sure you'll find the answers you need =)

I've been trying to find a paper weight that's just a bit heavier than the "text weight" #81 from paperandmore.com's site but the next one up is too heavy to print at home [#105]. And the paper weight around #90 I've found which would be perfect, other sites don't offer the same pearlescent nice colors! ugh! I'll find it soon hopefully =)

Wow these are beautiful!! I'm actually starting to work on my STD's and I was hoping you could help! The paper and envelopes came from Paperandmore.com (Pearlescent Azalea for the sleeves and envelopes and Pearlescent White for the Boarding Passes). ----> what size envelopes did you buy? I can't find one that seems to fit properly. Also, what are the "sleeves" considered, I want to order them also but I can't find them on paper & more's website. Thanks so much =) Jen
