Hey girl! So the easiest way I found to do it was copy & paste the template into Microsoft PowerPoint. This allows you to do so many more things than a basic word document does! Once you copy into a Power Point document you can copy & paste images, rotate, recolor, and just about anything else! Hope this helps good luck!

To our newest AS brides: Can you give any feedback on your experience with either of the Lomas approved photographers and DJ's? I'm having a hard time finding any reviews or information, and I'm not thrilled with what I've seen thus far. If I have to pay the outside $800 fee, I want It be sure it's necessary & also worth it. Please help thanks ladies =)

These centerpieces are all amazing - and best of all most of them are DIY! Amazing, well done ladies =) I love the clean & chic look- the tall vases with a stem and floating candle are fabuolus!

I've never heard of this concept until now! Sounds like a fun idea, why can't you just have a stag & doe party, but without asking guests to contribute with monetary gifts? If you want those who can't make it to your DW to be a part of celebrating, you can still have a get together men & women and just have a great time! I'm assuming this defeats the purpose of this type of party, but if you don't want poeple to feel like they have to give you something just call it a home reception.

I really like the idea of taking them on an excursion, rather than buying a gift. It will mean more to the groomsmen that you thought about spending a day just the guys & it'll be something they'll always remember.

This is a great post- I have been wondering the same thing. I also feel kind of guilty having someone plan a shower for me and expecting guests to spend more money than they are already to come join us in Mexico for our wedding. Is it strange to feel that way? My friends tell me it's the only time I'll be able to experience this and I should have it, but what do I do as far as gifts? I just don't know.

This is a great timeline, but I feel many ladies on here are doing things sooner than what it says. I am sending out my STD's this week, and we're a little less than a year away. I thought that was far, but so many girls have said the earlier the better. The timeline is great to use as a checklist regardless of when you get it all done =) I know if I don't have something to follow, I'll defnitely forget something LOL

I LOVE all of these photos on here, well done ladies! I definitely want to do TTD but I think I may buy a cheapy dress from David's Bridal or even online for the shoot. My actual gown is lace & silk, so I don't want to destroy it! There are so many great photographers, it's hard to pick just one!! Does anyone have experience with Caribe Photo or Matias Canos? Those are the two photographers allowed by my resort, and I haven't seen many reviews on them so far. It would be of great help!

Hi ladies! For any room block, they always require a room deposit, but be lucky it's only $25 person! Our resort asks for $50 each, or $100 per double occ. room, so we have to put up $3100 for deposit! But, one way to look at this- That deposit goes toward your stay, so it's one thing out of the way & taken care of. We are using gifts & bonds we received to put the deposit down. Since nothing else has to be paid upfront [atleast for now] just think of it as an investment and it's that much less you'll have to bring with you down there. It will work out!

Hi Tamara!!! Great date indeed =) And you're getting married at one of my favorite resorts!! It's beautiful there, congrats! I'm working on our STD's but it's taking forever!! Cutting out 125 boarding passes is not as much fun once you've done a few haha Cute idea for the invitations, I haven't even gotten that far yet! You are going to love Kleinfeld's! I went about a month ago, the experience is amazing, but I actually went elsewhere to see some more and bought my dress last week!! I'm so excited and relieved I found the dress and that part is over with. I think it's best to get yout dress far away to your date- less stresfful. It can sometimes take 3 or more months to receive your dress and then if you need to alter, etc, it takes longer. So always best to order it ahead of time so you don't run into any problems last minute. I want to do a TTD but I'm thinking I may buy a cheapy from David's Bridal for it, or even purchase online. For the amount I spent on the dress and it's silk & lace, I wouldn't dare go into the water with it LOL

Hi TKUZMA! I did ask my WC about websites for the DJ's, but the ones they gave me are from the Lomas website. They both seem similar in pricing, check them out. I wish there were more reviews or something to go by, I don't feel comfortable booking unless I know they're a great DJ! Hopefully some ladies on here can help us out =)

Very touching memory frame, this is something we're on the fence of doing. It's amazing how small an object could be that brings such emotions out of everyone.

Fabulous idea- I know there are ladies out there like me that have OCD when it comes to staying organized and this is just what I needed LOL There are no planners out there that are as organized as the ones you create yourself =)
