Gorgeous!!! Simple yet so elegant!! I love it!!! All the dresses on here are stunning, but this may be the only dress I've seen so far that is giving me dress envy!!

I hated the band that went with my ring, so thankful to find this gem!! Cannot wait to wear it!!!

My engagement ring is going to fit in between 2 bands (that are connected), so I won't have mine on the day of our wedding. It'll already be with the band... so he'll be putting the whole set on. I think when we get home I'm going to have the band and ring permanently attached since I'll never be able to wear the band without the engagement ring. (Just another reason for an anniversary band down the road!)

I chose a color that is really hard to match. Originally it was Persian Plum by Dessy, but found Alfred Angelo's Violet was very similar (in person). They are wearing Violet with Navy trim. The color looks really purple here, but in person it's more of a magenta. It's so beachy I love it!!! I had picked out a couple different ones, but this one was more daring which is why I think I love it so much! I can't wait for them to get here!!

I've been playing around a bit with the table decor.. We are set on the centerpieces (first picture), and runners, but I'm not sure if I like the Pink napkin in the glass with a white menu card, or vice versa... what are your thoughts ladies?? (and thats obviously NOT our centerpiece in the last 2 pictures, just some vase I had laying around)

We are using Clayton, he did our engagement shoot when we went for our site visit this past May. He is GREAT!! Such a pleasure to work with and is very talented!! I'm sure you have a sticky with links to his pictures, but I can tell you first hand he's very professional. We are doing 3 shoots with him total.

If you go into a thread that you think it may have been discused at the top of the thread under the headline (in a yellowish orange) there is a blue link search option "Search this Thread" you can type in key words and it will pull all of the posts in that thread that have them in there. I tried looking yesterday at lanterns & semi-private in some that I've posted in. No Luck. Maybe you can try some that you posted. That's so frustrating. I'm surprised FF was higher. I honestly think it depends who you talk to down there. Nothing ever seems consistent after reading posts from other brides on here. I think everyone just makes up their own prices. I hope it all works out for you. Try to enjoy your last few days, I'd definitely take into consideration the lack of communication when tipping these people!! Do they forget that they work for us? (not to be rude, but it's true)

I'd e-mail Floral Fantasies. They got back to me right away, within 3 days I had everything under contract. (I sent pictures of everything I wanted and they priced it out) I bet they could put everything together for you for this week. I do not trust TF, their communication is so terrible! Are you doing a lot of flowers? It's 1 week before you leave what are they thinking?! I don't think I'd be able to sleep if I were you!!! Sorry to hear they have added stress a week before the wedding! As for decorations, I think I read in these posts that they don't allow you to hang lanterns with a semi-private. If you asked her specificially about hanging them and she said yes, print those out and take them with you!!

I just asked my MOH's husband who works for the FAA what the chances are they don't find them. He said Zero chance. They will find them and they consider them explosives. Guess it might not be a good idea...

I have seen on a few posts that they made it safely to their destination no problem. I haven't heard of anyone who had them confiscated, so I'm not sure what they do if they find them. I also wanted to bring them for our wedding in May. Let me know if you end up getting them down there!

It's my understanding you pay vendor fees for everyone except TaiFlora (which I'm NOT using!)

I found reviews on here, and his website is: http://jaweddingdj.com/dj.php He is a Jamaican vendor and has been very professional and quick to respond so far. When I met with Nicole, she said she knew Kevan well and that he does a great job!

That was one of my questions to Nicole. At 50 you can have it at Calabash. Most of the reviews I've read from Mare Nostrum had 30-40 people and they said it was the perfect size. When we went to that restaurant it's very nautical and cute but I don't think 50+ would fit in there with a dance floor. My DJ is Kevan and he sets up regularly at Calabash. He's bringing lighting and it appears they use the far side of the restaurant as the dance floor. Calabash is a large space.

I'm with most of the ladies on this one. I also told my BM that I didn't need one and of course they insisted. Our guests list for our DW is a bit larger, so there are 50 women invited and most are going. Is it possible to send your AHR invites out before the Shower invites? If I was invited to a shower that was having a DW, and I wasn't invited to the DW, I'd think it was for gifts. If I knew the DW was a small wedding but I was invited to an AHR, I'd appreciate that I was included in the shower.
