    Hey Ladies I received my starfish last week and they are PERFECT! Some of them aren't the perfect starfish shape but over all they are great quality and the customer service was awesome! Definitely trust this vendor in California!

    I am so torn!!! I have a beaded Empire waist and I absolutely love it for my dress... although mine is mermaid also, its satin... and a sweetheart. For your dress, I'm loving the natural waist! I don't know if its how delicate the lace is and a natural waist is more feminine.. or if it's how the lace "pops" out at the bottom... but I definitely don't think you can go wrong with either!

    To my brides getting married in the next few months... have you gotten your paperwork to finalize details yet? I am STILL waiting weeks to hear back from Nicole. I'm going to start calling, but I wanted things in writing, so there would be no question about what was discussed. Anyone have good pictures of the Arch they use? We can't use the Huppa for our location, so I'm curious what the arch looks like.

    I think that deal might be over for postcards.. when you click on the other links they are still showing free... postcards arent. It just takes you to the design choice and at the top left, the see full details and pricing link shows them full price. I'll have to keep watching!

    I used this link and it looks like it is still charging the regular price, even when I clicked on the postcards that said free. I haven't used Vista before, could I be doing something wrong?

    I got them at www.wedding-linens.com but we actually aren't using them now. We changed our centerpieces and I wanted the flowers to be the wow factor and not the runners. So we are just doing votive candles and the silver chargers with these centerpieces. But the runners are really pretty and very sparkly!! I may bring one or two down to decorate the cake table with, but I'm not sure! Anyone know where to get cheap 2" or 3" wide pillar candle holders? I'm looking to add some tall pillars to the bar area but can't find anything cheap enough that I'm willing to leave at the hotel after

    We are doing something a little non traditional... the person who is doing the ceremony is going to walk down first, then my FI, and his best man. The final 3 in the wedding party are going to walk my mom, his mom, and his grandmother down the aisle. Since there is no front of the church for them to come out of and we don't have ushers I thought that would work best. For music the guys and moms are coming in to Somewhere over the Rainbow by IZ, my girls are walking down to A Thousand Years, piano instrumental version (SO GOOD!) and for myself, cannon in D. On our way out, One Love, Bob Marley of course!

    That was also a selling point for using Rashel and her assistant... they do everything in the room, so we could order room service for lunch and just hang out. I guess I should ask Nicole about accomodating that many women in the spa at one time. I've also read that the spa does a good job but doesn't have high quality make-up, has anyone considered going to a MAC here in the states and then bringing that for them to use? (I'm also a little weird about using old make-up).

    I find it so hard to believe that they just tell each bride whatever they want to. I just got an email that said it's only a charge for her assistant who does hair. Are you having airbrush done Kassi?

    I also got this same response. The reason was because Rashel does air brush make up, her assistant does Hair, which they do offer at the Spa. Do any past brides have any advice on hair at the Spa? Who are all of you using for hair? My concern is that they won't be able to accomodate all 9 of us as well as another bridal party from the Beach or Grand the same day. I don't want to get my hair done at 8 am because there are 20 women in there that day.

    Amen sister!!!!! I'm not paying $300 before they even touch my hair! I'm afraid the spa won't be able to handle 9 hair appointments, plus make-up... and thats if there isn't another bride at the beach and grand getting married the same day... We all share the spa. Are these "vendor" charges on the hotel bill? It seems like this is an "agreement" between the WC herself and vendor as they can change who they do and don't charge... who do you think splits the $100.... Rashel said to me that she will tell Nicole that I booked before this new "policy" and therefore I don't have to pay it... how about some uniformity here and not "rules dujour". I get a travel fee as she comes from far away or if we aren't using the spa services at all, but we are going to split between Rashel and the spa, but if the hotel is unable to accomodate us at the salon I don't think a vendor fee is appropriate. It's not like these vendors are at the pool bar drinking and snacking. Has anyone considered looking into a salon outside of the hotel... and taking a cab there? They have such a monopoly on these services here!

    I'd also like to see close ups! Where did you get the starfish? My colors are magenta and navy, so I'd probably use navy or a natural tan color raffia. Thanks for the explanation!!! How did they hold up in the wind?

    I'm have 9 women getting their hair done. I'm thinking that 4 would still go to the spa and the bridal party can stay in our room to get ready and have their hair done by Rashel & her assistant. I don't think I should pay a vendor fee when we are still spending $ at the spa. My concern is how many women work at the spa who can do a GOOD updo. I dont want to be getting my hair done at 8 am because the spa isn't staffed to do hair for that many people in a reasonable time frame. Believe me, we are spending enough $$$$$$$ there on all the "extras"
