  1. I peaked under the chair covers when I was there. Let me just say, they must be covered. They are not nice chairs underneath. Your option is only the ones with chair covers and a bow, unless you rent them from TaiFlora. And YES I'm also looking into renting them, my FI said, "you want to spend how much on chairs?!" I love the way the chiavari chairs look! What color are you looking to rent? I'm thinking I may just do white ones. They would only have to store them at the resort for 2 days before you would need them! I just sent a long email to TaiFlora with all of my final choices for flowers and also asked about pricing for them. I'll let you know if I hear back.
  2. I know I saw it somewhere but I can't find it in these posts... does anyone know how much Chiavari chairs are to rent from TaiFlora?
  3. I asked about that, not for centerpieces but for extra decor maybe for the bar area..I was going to fill the vase with sliced limes and use the bouquets... they said the technique to do a full centerpiece is not done on site, it's done at the florist, so creating the look I wanted would be hard. I'm still tempted to use them, but fill the vase with clear stones instead or something. For as expensive as they are, they will not be just tossed on a table somewhere!
  4. If any of you are tossing around ideas for colors, dessy.com has over 5000 style boards!! They also have some amazing dresses in a HUGE variety of colors! http://www.dessy.com/pantone/gallery/
  5. Go to oyster.com and search Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, under the pictures tab you can find a lot of good quality pictures of the restaurants. I use it religiously throughout my planning for decor reference.
  6. It's so exciting when you know its yours!! They told me I could come back whenever to put it on again (they keep it in a fire proof vault until the wedding). I didn't want to take it off!! Which dress did you choose?
  7. Good call on ordering the regular size, it might have been a bit short in petite!! I was thinking of doing a side bustle since the top of the dress gathers to the side, but I don't want to have one side to heavy. Do you have a picture of the bustle you did?
  8. Thanks so much!!! I love it more now than I did when I first put it on! It's Maggie Sottero Adorae... I'm not wearing heels because I don't want it to drag for the ceremony (and look to long in the pictures) just so I can wear heels at the reception (and I'll prob end up in flip flops during the reception anyway!) The bridal salon I got it from suggested I order a petite.. I was so nervous!!! I'm 5'5 and am wearing a 1 inch wedge/heel of some sort. It's the perfect length, I'm so glad they suggested a petite instead of cutting 6 inches off the bottom!! (If any of you take that suggestion, I tried on a petite Maggie dress they had in stock to be sure it would work) Quote: Originally Posted by ChocoTaco7568 Quote: Heather, the Adorae looks fantastic on you... 9. My dress came in last week and I was finally able to try it on this week! I'm so excited, I don't need ANY alterations!!! It's the perfect length in front and I'm not doing anything to the train. One more thing checked off the list!!
