Kat - the contrast is breathtaking! I love how they look with the hemline of your dress! I am looking to do the same thing. I am not getting married until April 2013, so I have some time, but want to make it right, ya know? (Of course you know!) I just ordered my dress and am starting to peek for the shoes, but I just love this look. I just need to determine my contrast color. I am not having BM's nor GM's. My FI son is standing up for him so I asked my Mom to stand up for me. Takes the pressure off of choosing a MOH between my friends.

I am recently engaged (Christmas Day 2011) and we are planning a April 2013 destination wedding in Playa del Carmen (Riu Palace Riviera Maya) We just need to confirm the Easter School Break for 2013 for my FI's son, Jake. They will not guarantee it's the week following Easter (Mon 4/1- Fri 4/5). The schedule will take another few weeks to be confirmed so I am sort of at a stand still until I get Jake's week/break confirmed. Although I have started talking to Wendy Hicks at Wright Travel & started talking to the Riu. Such an exciting time - my first wedding/FI (Bill's 2nd). How soon did you send your STD's? Hi Maridr2012...sorry it took me so mlong to get back to you. I was away for a long weekend. The dress is Paloma Blanca #4115. How did you make out at Kleinfeld's???? Did you say yes to the dress? LOL - love that show! Been dvr'ing & watching all the episodes.

Thanks so much, Tori Lynn!! The more I look at the dress pictures & all the sweet comments, I am totally sure that I made the right decision. It was my 2nd time out trying on dresses. I cannot believe I found it so fast. It is a Paloma Blanca # 4115. My Mom actually saw it first and said I should try it on. It was the first once I tried on and nothing else compared afterward. The organza ruffles reminded my dress consultant of ocean waves...I loved that analogy. I was given a free veil although I may just wear a tropical flower in my hair & some big ornate earrings and bracelet(s).

The woman at the bridal shop said I was smart to get now since it would be close to 8-10 months until it comes in and that gives me ample time for alterations, fittings, etc. You are right - I am sure the time will fly by. Look at you - your wedding is 10 months away!!!! Happy Planning to you, too! Is it all coming together now? I have just started! :-)

Thanks for posting this Nic! My name is Elissa & I am planning an April 2013 wedding at the RPRM! I am waiting to determine the Easter/School Break so i can pick my week to go & tie the knot! My soon to be step son will be a sophomore in HS when we go so we want to do it while he is out of school & does not miss anything. I tried to find you on FB, but you were not there. I have vacationed there in April 2010 & loved it! We are looking to do a civil ceremony so I need to determine what day I have to arrive in order to be married by Wed at the latest. LOL! We originally thought we wanted a beach wedding for 4pm, but are thinking perhaps a Gazebo one instead. Did you do a cocktail hour after the ceremony? Then dinner? Any insight you could share would be great! Congrats & Thanks! :-)
