Almost forgot - I just got the call about 2 hours ago - MY WEDDING DRESS HAS ARRIVED! - I am going down to the Bridal Shop on Saturday to inspect & pay the balance. I chose a Paloma Blanca #4115 in Natural. O-M-G! I am hyperventilating - LOL, JK!!!! 168 days to go!!!

Absolutely gorgeous dress! The blush is so pretty, however, I think the ivory will be magical!!! Maggie Sottero has beautiful designs!

Hi Stephanie072007, Congrats! The RPRM is absolutely beautiful! Excellent choice for your wedding. We are getting married there April 2, 2013. The resort photographer is Adventure Photos. The contact there is Petar Gachevski - email address [email protected] I am unsure how far in advance you have to book. We booked with them for my wedding - he did not require a deposit - I will meet with him when I arrive in Playa del Carmen (right after meeting with Nancy at Riu to finalize wedding plans). Petar has been wonderful to work with so far - very quick to respond to any questions. They also have a Facebook page. Maybe send him an email and see if he's available that date and go from there? They just published the following 2013 Pricing List: As far as the reception - you may want to check with Nancy Hernandez Gonzalez who is the wedding coordinator onsite at the Riu. From what I understand, a semi-private dinner you cannot have music/dance floor since you will be sharing the restaurant with other guests of the resort. I was under the impression it's the private dinner which allows you to have music/dancing. If you do not wish to have the added expense of a private dinner - maybe have your first dance at your cocktail hour....you could have a semi-private one there and maybe hire the mariachi band or bring an iPod with speakers....just a thought!

EVknowsitall - love love love the blue bling....I am wearing blue shoes as my something blue (my colors are blue/green & white - very nautical preppy)...I wish I could wear heals like that - although I am 5'10 and I cannot wear much over 2 inches (without feeling self conscious or scared of walking LOL)! Here is what I bought so far...they "may" be the ones, but still keep looking.....ya never know! Aynat - these are HOT! Love the flower on the back - is that a slight veil hanging from the flower?? So cool!

I like that I was able to personalize it with our nicknames and Jake's (my stepson's) name etc. We cannot believe how many people said yes - we figured 40 people - but 60 and more "saying" they are coming...we are guessing 70 people tops. (OMFG!) LOL! Arch713 - you are so sweet! Thank you so very much for saying that! I ordered it back in January so it seems FOREVER AGO, however, I think it should be in anytime now.
