    Thank you EVKnowsitall! I am glowing (and I started tanning a few weeks ago to build a base). We are 6 weeks out until we depart. I am bringing my iPad so I promise to post pics while in Mexico!!! Aww, you are sweet LKocelko! Thank you. I am letting my bob grow out a little for the wedding, but it's starting to drive me nuts! I go for a trim tomorrow and then my last appointment is in 5 weeks (the Sat before we leave) for some fresh highlights...and a shape up. Snoopy129 - thanks for the kind words! The sash was not custom made. Just one the bridal shop had. I love the "lift" it gives to the dress. I needed a little bling factor there.

My favorite part is the organza layering at the bottom of the dress...it reminds me of water ripples....and I feel like the dress with the small train down has such a mexican flare. xoxo I am in the process of getting jewlery to match the detail on the sash. No necklace, just big earrings and I am going to possibly layer some bracelets up my right wrist/arm. Here is a close up of the sash detail.     I just had my 1st fitting last week. I love my Paloma Blanca! I have decided to sew/attach my sash to my dress. All we need to do is take in the upper bust sides so we can push "the girls" up a bit...and add an eyelet hook in the back as well as a bustle. They will be sewing a bra into the dress - hence, the sloppiness up at the sweetheart/bust/lace line...there were pins and cups and all kinds of things going on in there at the time the photo was takem. ;-) LOL We leave in 44 days - I go back for fitting #2 March 5th.

    GRACIAS!!!!! Definitely bling factor - I will have to add it to my insurance policy - I love it, but slightly wonder if we should have done a single band of bling....but with my bigger hands we throught the double would be better....it's will take a little it to get use to, but I think I can love with it. :-)

    I just got the call from our Jeweler. My custom wedding band is finsihed. I went by today at lunch to take a sneak peek (and get my e-ring back - it was a long 16 days without it). We will pick it up tomorrow.I snapped a picture - I am so excited.

    Hey Jess - congrats on everyone booking!!!! We had a few stragglers on airfare...in fact we still have one couple who hasn't bought theirs either and the wedding is in like 53 days! HELLO! We even had 3 couples that tried to book the beginning of this week - THE RESORT IS SOLD OUT FOR OUR WEEK!. Sometimes I do not understand how some people think they can plan such abig trip like thid in 2 months before departure on Easter/Spring Recess to boot! I feel bad, but my FI jokingly says, hey you snooze you lose! So your guests are using Olympus Tours, right? It's part of their resort cost, yes? That's what all our guests are using. We booked through Wendy Hicks at Wright Travel (from this website). Perhaps contact Olympus Tours directly to see if they would take on these people travelling alone. I made a contact with them. His name is Miguel Tenorio. His email is [email protected]. Maybe see if he can help you out. As far as the matches - yes I found that out a few months ago when I was reading TSA guidelines. I am FED-EXING the matces to Ariadna at the resort. She said I could. THANK GOODNESS! Of course it's going to cost more to send them than what we paid for them, but I WANT THEM - so....it is what it is! It will only take a few days to get there so I am sending at the beginning of next month. You are welcome Amberya17! Good luck - let us know if you need anything!

    Amber, I will try to answer your questions as best I can. For my private reception - for open bar they are charging me $10 per person. Hi mv562 - this is a thread for Riu RM (Riviera Maya) brides. Not much detail about Cabo in this thread. I would do a search of the forum for RIU Cabo brides. A lot of threads come up. Best of luck! Cabo is beautiful. We stayed at Dreams there in 2007!

    I have been witout my e-ring for a week now. We are having my wedding band custom made to match...and the jeweler wanted my ring as reference. It should be ready in one more week... :-( I cannot wait to see it & show you. Our wedding is in 64 days! I cannot believe it's almost here! xoxo
