Same with me... We put our deposit down the beginning of January and heard from her within 2 days of every email I sent. I got a very short response back yesterday about one of my questions, but the email I sent 2 weeks ago still remains un answered. Trying not to stress about it since I know I still have a lot of time!

I decided on no veil I'm going to do a pretty flower in my hair and leave it at that. I've seen some really good pictures of the veil in the wind, but I'm afraid it would be too much trouble! And 1 less thing I have to worry about buying and bringing with me!

Hi there! I was willing to change my date as long as it meant I could have the pool deck. I knew it would save me money as far as the dance floor goes and those pictures I saw of it was one of the things that made me fall in love with this resort. We're getting married in December there so if you decide to change your date, maybe we'll run in to each other!!

I know I'm a long way out from my wedding (12/17/12) but I've been wondering about how the ceremony actually works.... That may sound silly, but do you get to meet with the person doing the wedding before hand? Do they tell you what order everything is going to go in so you can make programs or do we decide all this on our own? I have no idea how a ceremony is actually supposed to go..... And what about a rehearsal... I know there are weddings every day so it seems like it would be impossible to rehearse. ahhhh, so many questions and not enough answers from Eva!!

I've heard from her pretty regularly in the past few weeks. She usually takes about 2 days to respond to my emails. I've found that if I limit my emails to a few questions and my questions are numbered she responds more thoroughly!! haha Who are you using for the DJ? I am using the guy through the hotel and he responds to emails VERY quick!

I just emailed you the cake and bouquet options I have. I don't have options for centerpieces though. As far as the approved vendors... I asked for that and she only gave me one name for DJ, one name for photography, and one name for wedding decorations. I was under the impression that's all we could use...

Have you looked at the buffet menus? I felt the same way about the plated dinners. Neither one of us eat seafood or mushrooms and it seemed like everything included one of those! The buffets seem a lot less "fancy" I think we're going with the Mexican buffet!

Are y'all using the on site photographer? Before we decide to spend the extra money on paying someone outside the hotel to do it, I'd like to see photo albums of pictures from the resorts photographer. Would any of you happen to have that? Thanks!

Hi sent in my deposit yesterday so I am official DRC Bride!! We're getting married 12/17/12!

Once you put your deposit down for a specific package can you change to a different package?? They have the day/time/location open for our wedding now we just need to put the deposit down for the right package. I don't need my hair/makeup done because my sister is a cosmetologist, I don't want a cocktail hour, I don't want a mexican trio, etc etc so I think the free package is going to be the way to go. Has anyone else done the free package and had a reception with it? Thanks in advance for your help

Hi all!! I am recently engaged and am highly considering the Dreams Riviera Cancun as our wedding location. I have a couple of questions I wanted to see if any of you could help me with! We have a travel agent and she is having a hard time getting in touch with the wedding coordinators there so I thought I would direct my questions here and hopefully get a faster response! I really want to have a private reception on one of the decks. Does the per person amount for the buffet and open bar include everything? Tables, chairs, basic linens, etc? I know any thing special (colored linens, flowers, decorations) won't be included, but just want to make sure there isn't other hidden fees in there for renting the actual space. Thanks in advance for any help y'all can give me!!
