Ok, thanks!! I have all the music for the ceremony and first dance on my iPhone and I will put it all in a playlist just incase he didn't get my list. He was the one who told me about him being able to be the "technician" so hopefully he marked that down. I already told Lorena that he told me he was doing that. I'm not stressing about it anymore after what I'm hearing on this board!

Thank you for posting this!!! I can't wait to hear your review and see your pictures My concern with the DJ isn't the reception, but the ceremony. Did he do your ceremony? I honestly don't care about the music at the reception because I know, like you said, he'll keep the party going! But, there are certain songs I want for the ceremony and I have no idea if he got my song list or not!! Trying not to stress about it! Have fun on your honeymoon and share all about your trip when you get back!!!

For those of you who have already gotten married (or who haven't and know the answer): Do we get the Dreams Eternity Honeymoon Package along with your wedding package if you book the preferred club for 7 nights or more? Just wondering if we're going to be getting the dinner on the beach and extra spa treatments

I was about to ask the same thing!!! We leave next Thursday and I've emailed him twice over the 3 weeks and haven't gotten any response. We have him booked, but I sent him our song list and now I have no idea if he got it or what!!! This is my one and only worry right now because he is doing our ceremony too!!!

I am on the pool deck and we only have 35 people including my fiance and I. The per person price for the reception is the same no matter where you have it unless you close down one of the restaurants and in that case it's more. (which is supposed to be the case for the Seaside grill but I've heard of several brides getting to use it for the same price as the other locations). If you find LindseyM on here, she had her reception in the Seaside Grill and used the standard chairs/tables that come with it. I thought they looked fine! I'm not sure on the price of the tablecloths. We ordered ours from weddinglinensdirect.com and are bringing them and chair sashes with us for MUCH cheaper. But, if you are interested in Seaside grill, I would verify which chairs/tables you are going to have, because they might be different in there than the standard round tables. We are not having a cocktail hour. We are using the credit towards dinner and are having everyone congregate at the Beach Bar while we are taking pictures. I honestly don't know if it will work, but it was OK'd by Evangelina and I imagine if it weren't going to work, she would have said something. I just didn't want to pay for it when not everyone will go. I'm sure some people will go back up to their room, etc during that time so why pay for it? We leave next week so I can tell you how it went when we return!

Just from my previous trips to Mexico, I wouldn't recommend renting a car. They drive CRAZY!!!! And with the safety concerns in Mexico, I just wouldn't leave the resort unless you are in a tour group.

I would try calling or posting on the FB page. My wedding is 2 weeks from Monday and I've been in touch with Lorena pretty regularly over the last month. Everything is set for us.

We are getting married in less than 3 weeks and I just got a tentative invoice from Lorena a few weeks ago. And I had to ask for it. If you want an invoice, I would just ask her. It might take her awhile to get it to you especially if your wedding is not until next year, but atleast she knows you want it. Hope this helps!

Our ceremony is at 3:30 and we are starting at 10am. There are 5 of us getting hair done and 3 of us getting makeup. If you email the salon they should give you a good time frame.

Let me know how your room change goes! We are doing the same thing. We are in the preferred club for the first 3 nights then moving to the master suite the day before the wedding. The honeymoon suite wasn't available and the master suite wasn't available the whole 8 nights so we have to move! I am worried about how that's going to go! Good luck! Can't wait to see pics

I can't answer the ballroom question, but the slide show is included when you book one of the photography packages.

For those of you who have used or are going to use the mariachi trio... Where are you having them play at? I was thinking of having them play at the end of the ceremony as the recessional instead of picking a song. And then moving with the group to the "fake" cocktail hour at the beach bar. Opinions please!

the order will have to be decided by you and Linda, the officiant. When I emailed her she told me we wouldn't decide that until we got there and met with her.I decided not to have programs because of this.

If you are having a symbolic ceremony in Mexico then you can choose to get married legally in your home city/country whenever you want.

You have to pay extra for lighting. The strands of lights are $10 per light.
