  1. Hi girls I have not written in a bit but I have been following along. I love this thread and having you ladies to compare and share ideas with. I just signed my group contract with my TA today. I am going to finish assembling my Std's this weekend. Today is exactly one year until my wedding!! I am so excited!! Happy 1 year to the wedding to my fellow may 4 brides!!

  2. I have noticed that if I put something in my cart I will get an email with a coupon for it witihin a few days. Also I was ordering the other day and had no coupon. I did a google search for vistaprint coupons and clicked on the results under couponcabin.com. The coupon cabin link rerouted me to vistaprint and everything was 50% off. Hope this helps.

  3. would you mind sharing your schedule with me?  I definitely want to do a welcome dinner, and I want to arrange a booze cruise/ snorkeling trip so people can meet.  Hopefully on that Thursday.  Are you inviting everyone to the welcome dinner?  And, are you doing a rehearsal dinner?

    I am arriving the Saturday before and I know most of my immediate family is coming on Wednesday. The tentative plan is welcome cocktails/apps for everyone on Thursday so that everyone can meet. I will have a rehearsal dinner Friday night for bridal party immediate family. Saturday wedding and then maybe a farewell brunch on Sunday .
  4. Hi...May 4, 2013...Hard Rock, Punta Cana...Can't wait to share ideas...Just finishing up my STD's and will post as soon as they are done. Bride81...I am getting married on a Saturday...I plan on hosting a Welcome Dinner on the Thursday before so it would be nice to have everyone there by then. I will post a schedule of events on my website and let them know when FI and I are arriving and then guests can choose if they want to be there for all the events. As long as everyone is there by Saturday, I will be happy.

  5. Thanks for the great info stephydmd...you just sealed the deal for me and I am definitely going to book a site visit. I think it will be great to have all of my locations booked directly with resort so I don't have to deal with Miami. I do have one question for you..can you tell me the cost of the extension of the reception. I think I remember reading 65 per table per hour but just want to make sure that has not changed...thanks and good luck...you are almost there!!!

  6. Hello Ladies I am also planning my wedding at Hard Rock. I am finally booked for May 2013. Like many of you I am also having a lot of issues with the Miami office. I think I may just plan a site visit so that I do not have to deal with them. For those of you that have done that, were you able to meet with a on site coordinator and choose your function locations? I am really so happy that I found this site. I was originally booked for Moon Palace in Mexico and found all the information I could ever need on the Moon Palace 2012 forum when Miami could not even answer my simple questions. I am looking forward to sharing info and ideas with fellow Hard Rock brides. Happy Planning!!

    I will officially be a Moon Palace 2013 bride tomorrow!!

     

    I have read all of your posts and am very excited to get started on my planning.  You have all given me some great ideas.

     

    I have one problem I am hoping you can help me with. My contract is due tomorrow and I having trouble deciding on a time for my ceremony.  I currently have 5pm reserved in the Chapel. I was then planning on a 1 hour cocktail from 6-7 and a reception from 7-11.  The problem is I finally received the outdoor reception options from my Miami contact today and noticed that all outdoor events must end by 10 pm.  I checked the Moon Palace Wiki and noticed that some of you are having your ceremony at 5 and was wondering if you could send me your time lines.  I do not mind to change the time of the ceremony to earlier and figured you ladies would guide me in the right direction.  I apologize if yo have already posted this info buy after reading all the pages of this and the 2011 thread over the last few weeks my brain is scrambled.

     

    I appreciate any info you can share.
