Hey NewBride, If you already know the specific resort that you want to book for your wedding celebration, than I would put a deposit in now to secure your wedding date, and continue to watch room rate prices. I know that there are a few resorts that offer a 100% refund on deposits as long as you cancel 6 months prior to your wedding date. I suggest this because April, May and June are the most popular months for destination weddings and wedding dates get booked-up pretty quick. My Fi and I actually had our wedding date reserved at two resorts until we could decide. But our specific wedding date was very important to us. Good luck! The wedding will be April 2013 so just under a year and the quotes we are getting back are very high. I know the prices can be lower for the resorts we are looking at.
