Ive just been doing my invites cause i want them out asap. Just need to come up with a belly band and i have no idea what to do. Anyone have any ideas for me? This is a rough draft of the pocketfold love your invites... Are you still integrating lace into your design? I love the look of this , but if your not doing lace, maybe you can replace it with burlap?

But my Asscher is actually an octagon in shape and my reset will emphasize this with the prongs that I'm using. But I totally get the geometric symmetry that your referring to. And since no one else was bringing this up, I thought that maybe it didn't matter, but it does.

Ahhh, you're always one step ahead of me. We were talking about this in the May 2013 thread, so you wouldn't have found it in a thread search. I've been distracting myself with other quick DIY projects, I'm a bit reluctant to take this on because I know it will time consuming and to get a the petals in the colors I want will be more than I wanted to spend. You're off to a great start so far. Keep us posted with your progress and tips and tricks. -

There's no charge to the Bride/Groom for bringing their own decor, they only charge set-up fees for certain items. -

Correct, I just don't know if I like the first layout (4 baguettes and 3 rounds) or the second layout( 3 baguettes and 4 rounds)...minor detail I know. And I didn't even think about it until my jeweler asked if i had a preference.

I posted this to the ring thread, but yiou ladies seem to be quicker to respond and more helpful... Due my inability to find a wedding band that I actually like Justin and I have decide to go custom for both our bands and I will have my Asscher reset into a 3-stone as shown. I’m in the design phase and I'm stuck on one minor detail as to how I want my baguettes and rounds to alternate. Let me know if you have a preference…

I wasn't sure about it at first but my FMIL told me it looked amazing on me and after trying it on a 2nd time I was sold. Bought the dress on the spot and took it home with me. I posted it several pages ago.. But over the weekend my FI's step-mom and dad wanted to see my dress, so I showed them a picture.. I think they said it was pretty, but I can't even remember, all I can remember is they asked why I didn't go with the Allure 8862 when I showed them the pictures of both. I have the dress at home so I'm wondering if trying it on for my mom and my bridesmaids will make me feel better.. but I'm so torn now and feel like I may have made the wrong decision. ( Oh no... In all honesty, I don't think trying it one for your mom and friends will convince you that you made the right or wrong decision. Opininions can be biased, or even altered to refelct what you want to hear. I remember your excitement about 8862 and wonder what happend to it, but then saw your post in the mermiad dress and forgot all about it becasue you truely looked fantastic and your faced glowed. At this point I think it would be best to make the deciscion on your own terms without the direct opinion of others. Schedule an appt to try the 8862 on again (alone), but before you go try on the dress you bought so the image of yourself in it is still fresh. Your heaert will guide you in the end. -

I'm also using Teresa and I love her!. To answer your questions, yes this is accurate, and there are cut off date as to when you can cancel your contract without loosing your money. There are means of setting your contract up so you are only responsible fo 5 or 6 rooms (this is what I did even though I blocked 12 rooms). My best advice is to direct specific questions to her. She is very patient, detailed and quick to respond. But she's not a mind reader, so you'll have to ask any questions that you have and feel free to raise your concerns. I corresponded with Theresa multiple times a day for 2 weeks straight prior to signing our contract. She's there to help. -

And yeah, two toppers. You can always have one at the wedding, and just save the mud cards one for home (to keep it from getting broken). One of my friend gave me a gorgeous glass bell jar to display the topper when we get home, so I can't imagine NOT having that personal one. I picked up my dress yesterday, and had all of my accessories with me. I'll post pictures in a bit. But I just realized they took off a whole layer of my train, probably 6-8". I'm absolutely crushed... Ugh.. so sorry Allie, what a bummer. Hopefully there's a remedy that will make everything okay when you speak to the owner on Tuesday. Keep us posted. Good call with the mudcards topper. I'm actually okay with not using it at the wedding. I just think it would be a great momento and keepsake.

I gave this a try and suprisingly I'm pretty happy with the results, I thought this would be a DIY disaster. This was suppose to be my test run, but I think its good enough to use. However, I did use 16ga wire since they were out of 12ga and I'm not sure if it's sturdy enough, I have concerns with it getting easily bent and altered.

I definitely understand your frustration with trying to come up with an invite design. If you can push through, it will definitely be worth it in the end. The two fonts that I used were Scriptina and Jasmine UPC. If you have any questions or need to bounce ideas off of someone, let me know. I've helped a couple of BDW brides with their invite templates. Good luck and happy planing.

I think these are a great find and dependent on your dress, they may be the perfect shoe for you -
Hey there, it's a bit easier to help if you can share a bit more than just your color scheme. Are you doing pocket fold invites, paassport, boarding pass? I know your color selection is inspired by nature, but is this also incorporated into your design... are you using any specific clip art or imagery? It would would be helpful if you have a pic to share.
