Wow,I woke up this morning and freaked out a little.we are getting married Feb 14 th 2013, so less then 4 months and I can't figure out the form Pilar sent with final menu ideas. We are having the Devine package and only 20 people ,the carnival restaurant is where the dinner will be which I thought was buffet,but then she asked us to fill out meal choices?? So confused,and it takes at least 3 e-mails to get the answer to a question ,and even then the language barrier only gets half the question answered,arg. Help.

We are not having music at the cocktail hour either.we are having our own song choices for ceremony(walk in and out). Then the mariachi band for dinner hour.I guess it is up to you really,but I agree ,I have never seen music at the cocktail hour at other weddings,but then I have never been to a destination wedding in Mexico before either,lol.

Valentine's day.

We are getting married Feb 2013, and the Devine package,we booked 18 months ago,but we are getting a room for the groom the night before.It was listed in our package,perhaps that has since changed,but I confirmed with pilar.

I booked my valentine's 2013 wedding in 2011, if you want a certain date,why wait?Pilar is awesome ,we faxed everything and were confirmed same day.

How come it says under divine,silver dinner reception,and then further down it says platinum dinner reception?which is it?We booked the Devine package,but this makes no sense?!

Our wedding is Valentine's day,and I am still so unsure about why they sent us a menu to choose from if we are having the dinner at the carnival which is buffet?As well if I bring my iPod for our songs during ceremony will they have someone to play them?or do we have a guest do this?I am finding communication slow,and even when they answer they are not understanding the questions,so it takes 2weeks and many repeat questions to get any answers:(

Hello,so we are getting married Feb 14th,2013,and booked the Devine package.I am trying to figure out will we be able to have a first dance or dance at all ? Or do we have to pay for dance floor? There will be only about 25 of us,but it would be nice to have at least one dance. Pilar has confirmed the pergola for ceremony,carnival for dinner and mix bar for cocktails,but no mention if we can dance in the carnival or what? Please help me clarify.thank you.Also if anyone has photos of these locations ,we would love to see them.

Hi,beautiful pic's.I do have a question though,we are having the devine package as well,and I decided too to have the buffet so we don't have to pay $20per meal.but I noticed you listed the food you chose ,but also said you had the buffet?do you get to choose whats on the buffet?why would they give us a list of food choices to choose from if we are doing the buffet?so confused about that.thanks

Yes there is.it is all in the price list you get when you get your paperwork for selections.you can bring your own decor for the pergola or rent theirs with your colors ,but everything is extra.

I am getting married Feb14th 2013,we got the Devine package,I have a friend that had the same package and the resort photos were amazing.they do take more you choose your top 25 ,but can purchase additional ones. As for switching things out it really depends on what and if you haggle price just about everything can be the way you want it.I would like to know as well though about the DJ,I have asked but with language barrier ,the response is not really answering my question,so if you get an answer on that,I would like to know as well.thanks

Hi,we went to registries here and they gave out a list of Justices of the peace and we called one close to us.she came over to our house and in 10 minutes we had the legal papers signed and stamped.

We are getting married on Valentine's Day next year at the Now Jade, I am wondering what time the sun sets there this time of year,our ceremony is at 4p.m and also just curious as to the weather this time of year.I know we have a whole year but the sooner I know all the little details the better,also if anyone has photos from their wedding there in the last 6 months I would love to see them ,thanks...

Hi,I live in Alberta too,and we are getting married at the Now Jade ,we had a justice of the peace come to our house,she did the marriage license so it is all done before we go,but the wedding will be there.so much easier then my friend who had to have all papers and transfer them into spanish,then english at a cost both times,as well as blood work there,and you have to be careful when you book your flights that you are there with the minimun 48 hours prior.....Just to much for us.It cost us $150,and for us it is just a formallity to make our destination wedding so much easier and the ceremony will still be the same as far as any of our guests know,we didn't even tell family so it is the same for them.

Hi, we are getting married at the Now resoert on Valentine's day next year.We just founf out the ceremony will be on the pergola,but the cocktail hour and dinner will be at the mix bar and carnival restaurant and we are looking for photos of those locations . If anyone has any we would love to see them.Also any suggestions on anything that we should bring extra?or anything about the package that we should upgrade?we got the largest package,though I forget what it is called right now.lol.
