Hello fellow 2013 Brides! I'm just in the VERY beginning stages....have been checking out this forum, and love it! We are planning on March 2013 (last few weeks AFTER march break to avoid crazy prices!).....I was set on Dreams La Romana, but prices seem to be a little higher than I had planned on for my guests, so I'm now thinking about Gran Bahia Principe La Romana....not sure. Anyone have any suggestions of some nice all inclusives with reasonable wedding packages....and more importantly where the flight/accomodation price for my guests will be $1500 or less? The closer to $1200 I could get it, the more guests I would have coming, which would be great! Also - are there any 2013 brides out there that have confirmed dates, and gotten price quotes? I'm wondering if it is too early for that, but would really love to lock something in now so I can get started on STD's and then formal invites to follow. Thanks! Alicia

March 2013, Domincan Republic Resort yet to be determined. Anyone have any suggestions? I want a 4+ star so that food etc. is good, clean rooms etc.....however I do want it to be affordable for my guests as we could have over 30 people attending provided pricing is affordable.

Hello Ladies! I was originally wanting to book our March 2013 Wedding at Dreams La Romana, but it seems their extras and pricing just keeps adding up, as well as airfare/accomodations for our guests. I have recently come across Gran Bahia Principe La Romana, and their package prices seem to be a bit better for my wedding, and judging by prices for this year as compared to Dreams is more affordable for my guests. Does anyone have any info, or has anyone gotten married at this resort? I'm very curious to find out whatever I can, as their site doesn't give many pictures, etc....and I can't seem to find much on this forum or on google. Thanks!

Hello Ladies! I'll be getting married late March/Early April 2013 in the Dominican. I have my heart set on Dreams La Romana, but have recently been also looking at Grand Bahia Principe La Romana, as I feel it may be a bit more affordable for my guests. I'm hoping to find a travel agent soon, and also hoping they can provide pricing for the dates I am interested in so that I can confirm an exact date and start save the dates, invitations, planning etc! Does anyone have a travel agent they would recommend for group rates (30-50 people expected)? I am hoping to find one that will honour price drops in case people end up finding better deals after booking. I've been engaged since July, but now that I am finally starting the planning process, this is all starting to feel real! yay! Happy Planning, everyone! Alicia
