So - I got 3 out of 4 of my pricing back from my travel agent on Friday, and they are for all of the other resorts. The quote for Ocean Blue hasn't come back yet I hope it comes back early next week, because this resort is now my top choice (unless for some reason the quote comes back wayyy high). Do any Canadian brides know an average of what their guests are paying (or did pay) per person including airfare for their vacation?

Yeah, I think depending on the pricing and person limit/extra pp. charge of the resort - these packages with Transat can save a lot of money. For me with Ocean Blue, for example (my top choice resort right now) it costs 1300.00 more through the hotel, and the transat package includes a couple of extra perks. I'll certainly have to figure out which was is best once I narrow it down to a final resort choice. If it saves me over $1000.00 it might be worth it to have to deal with both Transat AND the resort to save the money. I'll just be sure to get everything in writing, with pictures/examples through email to be clear....and bring it all with me so there are no surprises, or extra charges.

I totally agree with you, and you have a good tip about having the WC confirm everything via email/photos before you get there, and bringing them with you. If I end up qualifying for the Air Transat package (looks like you have to have at least 12 bookings from the same gateway) I will likely try to do it as well. For me at Ocean Blue (my top choice)...it would be a difference of at least 1000.00

I would absolutely not want these ugly bracelets in my wedding pics! I know there are a few resorts where they don't make you wear them at all, but I'm hoping if I choose one that does, they'll let my wedding group take them off without a hassle. One more thing to ask/email the WC about...lol

Some beautiful dresses! I'm going to have such a hard time deciding. Think I'm going to go to David's Bridal just to get an idea of some styles/colours....I find it hard to look at colour charts on the computer..

I am so confused with colour ideas too...hopefully I'll find some help on this forum, and through looking at magazines, etc!

I'm not sure, but I imagine there is a ring that snaps off the top of the cup so you can put the insert it - then it would go back over it to seal the cup.......OR maybe the inserts go in from the bottom? Good question - I'm curious to see the answer as well, as these do look like a great solution!

They didn't a long time ago when I first started looking at the site, but they now do! When you go to the site from Canada, they automatically switch you to the Canadian section and show prices in C$

Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous! I've been on the fence as to whether or not to get real touch, or resort flowers. It does seem some of the resorts charge quite a bit for bouquets, unless you're willing to go with what they give in your packages....might be worth the money for real touch that you can keep
