I know thats what I keep saying November is still 7 months away but I have now been engaged for over a year and that went really quickly so I am sure it will be here before we know it!

Whoop, just ordered chair sashes, this has been a bit annoying but it is done and they should be in the mail today or tomorrow. Feels good to check things off the list!

yeah the stuff that I dont have to print yet I am waiting to do, Luggage tags, the map, the room card holders and my pretravel brochure (still have to make it LOL) well thanks for reminding me I will have to get on that too!

Yes we didnt do STD we figured we had all the information so invitations went out in November and we have all been booked since the end of January, but my TA and I let everyone know so it is what it is, we were freaking out a little because we have friends that have already booked holidays, but this seemed to have worked out better for most people!

Well I knew that this was a possibility, if you "book" before the flight schedule comes out (usually June) there is a possibility that they could change the flights, anything before the flight schedule is considered a Pre-Registration and it can happen! Apperently if you are booked with AirCanada or WestJet the chances are smaller. I just can't see booking for this big of a group with less than 6 months to go so we took a chance on the flights being changed, luckily when I spoke to the WC she said not to worry it happens all the time and they are usually very good at accomidating this happening! We had a few guests that had already booked holidays at work but luckily for them this works a little better since we now leave on Rememberance Day it isnt so bad! Oh well crisis averted and we can carry on waiting for the days to pass!

I think that one of the biggest things about a DW is letting go, and having it be what it is, which I think goes against everything that the world says that we should be doing for our wedding, but I think that if you concentrate on "letting: go that it will all be ok, it is going to be wonderful you are on vacation with sand and sun and these resorts do hundreds of these each year, not to mention that worse comes to worse the drinks are free and you can drink away the pain if you need to!

Csho, I have been stalking Trip Advisor since I booked my wedding, and time after time people recommend this hotel to people that are seeking a hotel with nice staff, not just the reviews on Trip Advisor but the forums there I wouldnt worry too much about it, I think that every hotel is going to get some bad reviews you cant make everyone happy! Look at my resort it has been ranked number 1 or number 2 forever and there are still some bad reviews, you are going to paradise I am sure that you will be more than happy with your choice!

Myself and my FI had to each pay a $150 deposit and then the tour company held 90 seats for 30 days so I sent out invites to have everyone pay their deposit, my TA was awesome, she will also send requests to have all my guests stay close together, also the WC at the resort asked me to send her a list of everone attending once I have the final list and she will give the list to the reservation department. It was still stressful, but I found that having everyone use the TA that it was a little less because then she could provide me with updates of who has and hasnt booked... I purposly didnt go with a TA becasue they wanted us to pay a group deposit to hold the seats and we didnt want to be out of pocket for all that money so that wouldnt be my advise, also the people (there werent many) that booked on their own was frustrating especially now because they have changed our flights, so I had to contact those people on my own to let them know that our wedding date had changed! A good TA is going to make it all less stressful, so if you dont like yours then switch before it is too late!

You were right, I sent the WC another email this morning and she emailed me back November 13th at 2pm... LOL I guess I am not going to have to worry that long about a sunburn since we get there at dinner on the 11th! Thank goodness I can go back to relaxing and saying that my wedding plans are back on track... I am glad I didnt have to wait much longer for that answer!

I did finally choose dresses, but I am not sure the style or who makes them, hopefully the girls and I can go this weekend and they can make sure they are all happy with them and then I can get a picture, I asked the woman at the store but I think that she just wrote down her inventory number LOL. Ladies I am panicking a little I still havent heard back from the resort and I need to change my date, I am going to give her until Friday to get back to me and then I am going to have to email her again, I dont like this feeling LOL I was so happy and stress free and then they go and change my flights so annoying!

Oh no... I just got off the phone woth my TA they have changed my flights... so now we are scheduled to leave on the 11th of November and come home on the 18th! Thats the day we are supposed to get married! Fingers crossed I just emailed the resort to see if they can change my date. Oh man I hate this I knew that it was a possibility but still so annoying!

yeah for us we started talking to our TA in July, then we finally chose a resort in October and then paid our deposits and sent out invites in November exactly one year before the wedding, I skipped STD I didnt really get it, I knew all the details so I did the invites, and it was exactly what I wanted just under 1500 a person and a year to pay!

Take your time youve got lots of it... I didnt have that moment while I was in the store, it was after my sexond time out I left the last store came home and like 3 days later I couldnt stop thinking about it and thats when Iknew I went back to the store about a week later put on the dress and knew no tears from me but I still knew you'll get there!
