    Alley, you should look into it but if your Grandamother wants to come, americans can go to Cuba they just cannot fly direct from US they have to come to Canada or somewhere else that will fly there, Cubans don't care about the "rule" about Americans visiting their country it is the USA governement that has the problem, but they dont stamp your passport at customs in Cuba so it wouldnt be a problem! I know all of this becasue I work with a guy that is an american and he just went to Cuba in march! Just incase his gradmother wanted to attend I know that it is possible just a little extra work and travel!

    I have been slowly working on my barefoot sandals for the ladies, right now I am committing to do a pair for every female that is coming but my FI thinks that it will be luck if I get enough done for the bridesmaids LOL I am the queen of starting a project but not finishing, I did one pair last night bringing my total to 2! I have 25 females attanding, but I did order super cute bags for them so maybe that will be my insperation to get them done! Kay - 2 jobs that is crazy, I did it for 5 years up until last February and now looking back I am not sure how I pulled it off! Good for you!

    Yep you should see my list with scribbles and all so funny and then I noticed a list I have at work for all my work stuff, and what do you know it looks exactly like my wedding list!

    I have to otherwise I will lose it!! 6 months still seems like a while, but like I said to my FI we have already been engaged over a year so this will fly by to!

    Thanks ladies I am pretty excited about it, I think that you are right a dont think that I am going to bustle it and I think that instead of getting cups put in I will get those gel boobs... I hate David's Bridal so i think that I am going to order one off ebay and then if worse comes to worse I will go and get one there at least I know they are there! I am getting married legally in Cuba, Belkis who is the coordinator at Iberostar Varadero (where I am actually getting married) Said that she will let me know when she needs to form filled out and copies of our documentation about 3 months prior. I figure that it is so easy to get married legally there that why not it will save me the $300 here to do it before we go! You just bring your passport and birth certificate and nothing needs to be translated unless you are previously divorced or widowed, and since that isnt us so it will be easy! I actually do have a few things like I ordered a hanger from Etsy so I am waiting for that to arrive, I need a flower clip for my hair! Bout pins for the groomsmen small stuff like that but all the bigger stuff is done so easy walk in the park from here. (yeah right we will see come September LOL)

    Ladies, did we figure out the contact info for a good seamstress, I got my dress Friday and I am not sure if I am going to get an alterations or not, everything is great I may add cups (no boobs) and possibly a bustle although I am not sure the train isnt that long but I would like to go to someone who doesnt charge as much as these bridal stores I cannot believe that this isnt included after you spend so much on a dress, I am being cheap but I would like to save a little where I can!

    Sorry about the look on my face! LOL It fits and everything worked out, I am a little annoyed because the amount of money paid for this dress I expected that it would come in a nice garmet bag it did not they wanted me to buy one, for get it! Also I may get cups added the triangel in the picture is see through and without the cups it doesnt stand out like it should... and I am a little back and forth about getting a bustle, it doesnt have a very long train so I think that maybe it is a waste of money but it will drag a little on the ground so I am not sure yet, I still have time so I will wait and see if I can find someone reasonable priced to do it! Also all bridesmaid dresses have been ordered, thankgoodness thats over! I can honestly say that except for a few things to be printed and assembled I am pretty much done everything! I think LOL I am going to wait a few weeks and check my list one more time and look over the few things that I passed on and see if I have changed my mind!

    Oh I know most people would be so excited I think that she just likes to try to make it difficult just for fun!! But hopefully youre right and she lightens up about it and realizes that its going to be fun and we arent trying to punish her by making her come to Cuba lol! Either way I am not going to let it bother me she will be there or she wont!

    Im not having one... Its to much I figure when you have a wedding at home you dont throw another party 3 weeks later for all the people that couldnt make it to the first one! Plus for the most part everyone that we want to be there will be there! Maybe the following year we will do something but we are doing the destination wedding so that we can get away from the costs here and the actual planning part! Lol also like Csho I dont want people to have an reason not to come to Cuba! At first we were going to do a legal ceremony here and my FIs mom said oh well Ill go to that and skip Cuba! Forget it now we are doing everything there and if you want to celebrate with us youll be getting on the plane!

    I started bare barefoot sandals like 3 months ago and did 2 pairs LOL I have to get back at it! I hear you my mother in law says shes coming one minute and then the next she isnt, and we are paying for her trip so it is really annoying, luckily my TA has dealt with this before, so we have until September 13 to say yay or no for her and out TA will transfer the money onto our trip minus the deposit which we will loose but we are giving her until the 10 to pick either way, so annoying be supportive or dont just make up your mind!!!

    Ladies I am very excited for you, I thought about doing this and then changed my mind... I just don't know what he is going to do with it after, put it on the bedside table?? LOL So I am not going to do it, maybe I will get it done for our 1 year anniversary or something like that! Kay - That is awesome that you are getting RSVP's back, LOL I didnt get any and we are having 65 people come, I think that they just figured that since they booked I knew that they were coming, I wish though that the people that arent coming would have sent thier's back or did it on the wedsite or something, but oh well it is what it is!!! Half day of work today and then going to get my dress!!! I will try to remember to take pictures so that you ladies can see!!!

    I am excited, I will be even more excited if I go in and everything is perfect and we dont have to make any alterations, it should be ok because I am 5'9 and so I dont think that I will have to worry about the length of the dress, and origianally we thought that maybe I would get a bustle but now the more I think about it the more I think that it is fine, there really isnt a train at all so it should be ready to go live at my moms! If I remember in it all to take a picture of me in it, then I will post it for sure! LOL My list is slowly but surley getting smaller, I still have printing and sending to do, but I am mostly done all my DIY's... the luggage tag holders that I got are the laminating ones, so I have choosen to pre-type in everyones info so that will take a little while, and I also have to finish barefoot sandals and I think that I am going to make my girls necklaces with starfish and beads on them... but I havent figured it out yet! I am a big procratinator so I know that I have 6 months left I am not really pressuring myself to finish any of this stuff but maybe I will re-do my list this week and start giving myself some deadlines LMAO!!!

    Don't worry I remember back in November when I thought that I wouldnt be able to wait a year, and now I only have 6 months left... still lots of time and part of me thinks that it is taking forever but it will be here before we know it! Yes finally my dress is in, I am goign Friday afternoon to try it on and see if I need anything done, otherwise we can take it, so exciting! I cannot wait to see pictures of your invites!

    I do have a template for the so you are going to sit through a wedding programs I may do them... maybe I have them on my list but we will see! I think that they are fun because they arent the traditional ones and a little something to flip through, but on the other hand paper weighs so much so bringing them may be harder than I want it to be!

    Suits, my FI just got his from Studio Suits it is awesome we are really excited about it, we are ordering pants for all the goomsmen as well I am waiting to hear about my dress it should have been here at the end of April - still no word Big thing that happened is they changed my flights and I had to change my actual wedding date, it happened 3 weeks ago I am ok with it My girls 2 out of 4 have ordered their dresses I am half done my DIY barefoot sandals I still need a wedding band We have 65 people booked to go, final payments are due September 13 so we will see if that number stays the same I order chair sashes about a week ago hopefully they are here soon I have petals and jewles for the tables I have done my pre-travel brochure I just need to print and do luggage tags and get them in the mail (August) I feel like I am probably forgetting 100 things LOL Awesome deal on the tumblers that is great!

    I think the flowers look awesome, I dont think that they look bad at all, and you did a great job with them! Seriously makes me think that maybe I am going to do them after all LOL! I think that we strive to make everything perfect and sometimes you need someone not so close to give you an honest opinion, They look really good! And those shoes are really cute, good find!

    That is where I got my dress, I had good service I went in there tried it on loved it, left to think about it and came back 3 weeks later and they remembered who I was it was great. I haven't gotten my dress yet it should be in soon so I hope the rest of my experience is as good. One of my bridesmaids got her dress here as well

    I had a horrible experience at Davids sort of like youre ethos then I gave them another shot with bridesmaid dresses and they didnt want to help at all, they were rude and couldnt even suggest a solution to them no longer carrying the colour I wanted even though it was on their website, I won't be going back !

    I am the same I love Bird Cage Veils until I put one on, so not me! LOL Lets see pictures, I am sure it will be fine, think of off white or ivory dresses they always look good, the only problem you might have if your dress is white and the flowers arent then they may look yellow, same with if your dress is off white or ivory and the flowers are white it may make the dress look yellow!
