    Shuntel, I got the same thing the WC sent me an email to confirm my date of November 18, 2013 @ 2pm. Did your travel agent that got married there get a confirmation number for her wedding?? Kail, I think that is exactly why there arent a lot on this site, the americans cant go and this site is mostly Americans. But there are still lots of ideas and other things and now we have this form to support each other!

    Yay I have been hoping for this thread! I am waiting to hear back from the resort but it sounds like November 15 or 20th 2013!!! How is everyones planning going where is everyone at?? There doesnt seem to be a lot of Cuba brides on this site we need to stick together!

    I am booking at the Iberostar Varadero, I had like 3 different travel agents get me pricing, I have one that I use all the time but I was worried that I should be using someone that has experience with destination weddings but she came in the most expensive I couldn't believe it, and what do you know the one that I use ever year came back with the best pricing! I am excited I was worried I didn't want my guests paying huge money!

    I got a new quote and with taxes it is 1400 per person I also spoke with the resort and am just waiting for confirmation on my date and then i will be paying my deposit! i think after a long debate i am skipping std and going straight for invitations Im going to try diy boarding pass invitations!!! I also am going to try to get some sample pictures from the photographer at the resort fingers crossed!!! How about everyone else where are you ladies at???

    Good post I didnt even think about ideas for guys... I do like the golf ball idea, or the video cameras are great ideas! Back to the drawing board.
