like the linen colour? do you have a picture?

Mine is bright orange and bright pink and I wanted the bridal party in all white but now the dress that I really want is ivory and if you put white next to it it makes it look yellow the reason i wanted white was my coloyrs are pretty hard for just anyone to wear so now I am going to have to go back to the drawing board maybe I can get the dresses in ivory who knows and congrats on getting to 152 lol this post really helped for sure good thinking but now that you have 150 posts you'll have to keep coming back to tis one maybe thats how we will ge to tousands of posts lol

Currently I am putting all my eggs in one basket... my uncle is a photographer so I am hoping that he will come and then just take pictures while he is there, I asked him and he said if things can come together and he can get the money then he will be there and be happy to take pictures! But for now if he doesnt come I guess that I will use the resort photographer... or I will wait and see and maybe pull something together last minute!!! DwBride - What else did you do, what all are you bringing with you to the resort... so far I think that I am going to do OOT bags but give out as many as I can here and not have to haul it all there and then I want chair sashes and the resort doesnt have anything but white and my colours are Pink and Orange so I am going to try to bring that... and maybe paper lanterns I love the look of them!!! I am DIY my invites and then want to send out luggage tags when people book, and then a newsletter closer to the date!

Oh I just realized.... this is my 150 post!!!! YAY I have been waiting a long time for this, maybe I should have just paid to be a supporter so that it didnt take this much work, although I am not sure that I would have contributed as much if I didnt have to work for it, and then I wouldnt have been ablt to share and talk toa ll of you!!!!!!! Templates here I come!!!!!

I would pay the money to have a photographer that I could trust, there is no way that you need to add the extra stuff... although I have read that a lot of time it takes people at the resort forever to get back to you about things, but that is neither here nor there and waiting 3 weeks is not cool no matter what! That really sucks but dont worry it will all work out!

I agree |about the keeping in touch I am sure that there will be plenty more that we have to complain whine and bitch about plus all the good stuff that we will share together over the next year! I really havent started other than trying to get the travel agangements organized, and I have my DIY Boarding passes pretty much done on the computer and save to a flash drive (incase something happens to my computer) but other than that I havent even bought paper or anything for them, I am not entirely sure why I am holding off, I am sure that I will regret that, especially the more time I spend on here the more stuff I want to do for my wedding. Actually today I am going dress shopping for the first time!!!

Maritime Travel, and the worst is that I have used them for my last 3 trips and had no issues... I am going to give her until Tuesday to come back with the other quotes and then I will take it higher and see what they will do for me, my guess is that they won't do anything but I guess I can keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best! I have also gone to another travel agent to see what they come back with!!! Just mostly annoying and frustrating because I have already done all this so it feels like I am starting all over again!

Why don't you use paper lanterns you could get them in white and it would sort of give you the same feeling and look!!!!! I have only so far had one thing that has gotten to me I had a TA that quoted my trip and got us a great deal, but then she had a death in the family and has been out of the office so the girl that I am working with now has had to requote the package and she is coming back $500 more per person, when I asked about why it was so much more she is telling that the other TA quoted my package for November 2012 not 2013... who plans a wedding a month away??? So I am not sure what to do now I cant expect that my guests are going to pay 1900 each I dont even want to pay that much... so I gues that I am back to the drawing board... also part of my family is leaving out of Winnipeg and now apperently Sunwing doesn't have any flights to Cuba from Winnipeg until December, give me a break! I think that I if I went to that store and they wanted me to pay that much more for pants when I was there the week before I would lose my mind and start freaking out in the middle of the store demanding that someone do something, then maybe they would give them to me at the right price just to get me out of the store!!!!

These are great, I love that you used the resorts bags as the bag great idea!

I am using the travel agent for the travel and hotel stay I enjoy the one stop shop, and think that not using one and having all the guests book their own it may get messy... but then I have been in contact with the resort its self to book the actual wedding its self, It is the control part of me I wanted to speak with someone there and make sure that they got the date and time correct so I wasnt hearing it through a third party!

Go with your gut it sounds to me reading that paragraph that you have already made your choice and are having a hard time telling the other one that it isnt them! Good friends will be good friends no matter who you chose and maybe this is a time where you will find out who your good friends are!
