This is terrible! I'm so sorry people are making you feel awful about your decision! I am honestly stunned that people feel so entitled to tell you what they think, I would absoluteyl lose if someone went on and on insulting my choice. You're entitled to your option but when it's comes to anything such as someone's wedding, unless it's to shower the bride and groom with affection you keep it to your freakin' self. Good lord! That would be like insulting the wedding that someone put on the day after "well it was OK, but I would have done this and this and this..." Just not cool.

What do you girls use when you need a sweet fix? I'm a bit strange in that I love going to the gym, no issues with motivation there. My biggest issue is diet. I find at like 3:00 at work I'm crashing and will do anything for junk food? Not really hungry, kind of bored I think... Suggestions? Your fav healthy snack that really hits the spot?

I just got my first wedding Etsy purchase today! I'm so excited, I love them! I got six of these necklaces made (one for each of my 4 BM's, and then for FH's 2 sisters, just cuz ). I'm so pleased, they are smaller than they appear in the photo, really little and delicate, I can't believe I have to wait till January to give them to the girls! How about the 15th since it's coming up? I say we start a new thread *and whoever wants to* can post photos and measurements for the start. We can report bi-weekly weigh-ins/reoprting, and whoever is doing the photo/measurement thing can do it every other month or so? What do you ladies think? We can use that thread to share any great recipes or workouts that are working great for us too! I need this extra push right now, I'm a BM in my friends Vegas wedding in a month and a half, yikes!!

Yay, this sounds like a fun challenge! We should def. start a thread! When should we start, and what should be our check-ins? Monthly? Bi-Monthly? (PS the bikini pics thing was more my personal goal, if anyone wants to do the "picture" idea, I'm sure shorts and sports bra would suffice to track progess in a more comforatble way:) I'm pumped!

I'm in to join a 2013 weightloss clhallenge as well! Jan 2013 for me, so just under 11 months to go! I'm a visual person so I've thought of challenging myself with monthly bikini photos until the big day. Scale numbers don't mean a lot ot me, I'm 5' 11, so the number are always "big", no way out of that! But tone and how my clothes fit is my biggest marker! If anyone else is willing to do the photograph idea, I'd be bold enough to post mine!!

Have any past brides had a slide-show in the Palapa (is it even an option)? What sort of price are we looking at for renting the equipment?

Alright ladies, need your feedback! Frugal lady that I am, I'm trying to "Dollar store" my centerpieces as best I can. These vases are $2 right now so trying to make them work. What do you think...? My plan is to alternate every other table for the pink/white color. No idea about the rest of the linens yet, but I believe they are white. The cost on these will run me like $10 a table so if I can get away with it I'm certainly going to try!! And with the Pink:

LOL that was pretty funny. I've only been engaged for three weeks so not too much of it yet. But, the thing that drove me FREAKING INSANE was : "When are you getting married?" Every family gathering, after every vacation we went on, everytime I would see someone I hadn't in awhile. Like seriusly? I don't know, turns out I have no control over it and I'd actually like to be engaged to but it's not my choice. Thanks for rubbing it in though! Just made me feel like crap after awhile, because I didn't realize that my ring I was waiting for took six months to make because it was totally custom. One of those question askers, as soon as I told her I was engaged, what does she say?? "When are you having babies??" Come on! I told everyone that I get one year of no pressure or quesitons, LOL. I got the ring so you can't bug me about that, and I'm not married yet, so you can't bug me about that yet! Sometimes I think people just don't realize they're actually being really intrusive and insulting sometimes with the questions they ask. it's nice to hear I'm not the only one! And for the baby question haters: This is terrible but a lady in my office gave me this one: The next time someone asks, just say "Oh, you didn't hear? We can't have children..." It will NEVER happen again!
