Nicole I did have something about lamps, I had asked Yenezia about bringing my own and she said " In the hotel you have to pay $100.00 pesos for each lamps, if you want to bring it, you have to pay $50.00 each pesos by the installation" So I am thinking we will just buy them there, we leave friday and I didn't end up purchasing any lamps. I'll show photos of what we do end up with!

Yes they are! I actually love them! I was really in the search for a Coral satin peeptoe and it was nowhere to be found. So when I saw these in my secondary color I thought it would just work. And they are really comfy actually, good find for $50!

I only just had to give my headcount at the start of the month (so that would make it approx a month ahead of time) to the resort. However for US and budgeting/DIYing, etc. we asked for three months notice as to whether or not our guests would be joining us. (The other thing is that if you do have a group with a TA, you kind of know way in advance who has paid up and who hasnt). If people were trying to do their own thing, we gave them the 3 month.

So quiet lately! How's everyone's planning going? I am t minus 9 days until we leave!

Previous Brides! When you got the Pres. Package, you were given the suite for the WHOLE trip correct? Elizabeth is trying to tell me is it for only one night and we've been given the impression the entire time that we would have it the whole time/ Why would we want to move rooms for one day during our wedding trip??!! Freaking out!!!

Finally sorted it out! If wants traditional so for the bridal party I found really grey guitar instrumental of wonderful tonight (Clapton), and then I will will walking to somewhere over the rainbow (cliche for beach wedding but it won't make me cry lol)

FYI if anyone was confused about Symbolic Ceremony, I confirmed with Yenezia today: For the symbolic ceremony you don’t need any special paperwork. So don’t worry, maybe Elizabeth ask only for your passport during the meeting that you are going to have but that’s all.

Does anyone have input on how long your Processional/Bride Processional should be to get BM's and yourself from wherever you start to the end of the isle? How long of a song(s) did you use? Thanks!

ANtiqued Dollar store frames Place Cards, Photoshop Drink Flags, straws from Etsy and made flags up in Photoshop Hangers for Bridesmaids, got wooden hangers at Dollar store and added ribbons & writing

The "BBQ" is a buffet, that's what standard in the palapa (so, with the Pres. package you get 10 meals included and they are $350 after that). The other options are Beach menu (a plated set menu that you will choose) or the Beach Menu upgraded to Lobster. Those two are obviously both more $$

Clothes: Brides maids are wearing this dress from Davids: They will be barefoot for the ceremony. I did include pearl colored flip flops in their beach bags, and told them whatever heels they want for photos. But in the coral Reef Color: FI is wearing Silk Blend Khakis from Tommy Bahama, Shirt from Tip Top and Tie from Le Chateau (the only place in this entire city that even comes close to matching the coral, sheesh!!). He and the rest of the boys will have matching brown leather Reed sandals, yet to be purchased. Our boys are wearing the same TB pants as hubby, and Quicksilver linen shirts with pocket squares from Le Chateau in Coral. My gift for FI will be this tie clip from Etsy Seller CallaToo And these cufflinks from Etsy TesoroJewelery (they will say 1.30.13 and S+B Rings - bands just came in today!! These are custom designed from a jeweler here Aqua Salis, I LOVE them, FI's band is amazing!
