Does everyone know how they will have the set up of their wedding.... Are you getting extra decorations and what not? I'm trying to be budget friendly I feel like I need the extra but I seen some pictures on trip advisor of a basic set up it looks like and its beautiful! I feel like I am getting more excited lately, not sure if its because I feel like fall is almost here which means its closer to April (SooOoo far away still!)

Hello, Yea after you book after the deadline that you have with your travel agent people can no longer get the group discount, but they still can book they just might not as great of a deal. I did put the deadline date in my invitations I actually put in an earlier date then the actual deadline so people wont wait to the last minute and or if someone forgot they still have some time. This is how I added it in my invitation... I did a pocket invitation so was able to add a lot of information cards inside.

LOL awe! I'm sure your dress will be amazing when you find it! How tall are you? Those are beautiful colors! How has the planning been coming along? What package are you going with?

I also have my dress shoes and bridesmaid and mom have there dresses their accessories and that's it feel like there is still so much to do! How many people approx do you have coming ?

Hey Jennifer, We decided to do the symbolic wedding as well due to cost saving purposes as my fiancé has been divorced before and its very costly to go through the documentation process. I also thought there would more wiggle room for the 3 day rule but I was also told that we still had to be there three days before the reason I got was because they don't want to have to harass you to go through the wedding meeting as soon as you get there. They want you to be relaxed rested, it gives more time for them to be able to setup and understand more of what you want. Hope this helps! How is the planning coming along? Have you decided your colors? What is everyone’s colors ? I chose Guava I wanted coral but one of the styles for my bridesmaid dresses didn't come in that specific color.

Hi EricaChiaka it's truly hard to chose a resort! You just have to weigh the pros and the cons and just go with your gut.... I chose Now Larimar and now that I chosen I feel so much better. You should message to see if the dates you want are avaiable for both resorts as if one is booked and the other isn't it might help as the slots are filling up quickly at Now Larimar that I know of. Are you dealing with a travel agent yet to help? 2Sexiblu Happy 4th of July to you!! That's neat that you are having the wedding at Now Larimar and staying at dreams! When is your wedding?

Hi Chrisdeluca, No just calling them with questions when I have a couple. I tried emailing but usually I receive no reply I asked them to send me an email for the pictures and they did within the same day which was nice. I was told that 2 months before the wedding is when we get matched up with a wedding coordinator.

Hello, Sorry I haven't replied I’m on vacation and just haven't had a time to check anything. mandycross- I honestly don't know where that photo was taken. The first picture of the fountain set up with the limited amount of decorations in the picture they sent that they said it is what’s included if you don't pay the additional $1500.00 so I’m hoping that the little flower decoration are included. I just looked and all the pictures are taken down:( I really hope they are just updating what they have. Also I noticed that some extras you can get have slightly increased in price. That’s a good idea Susan. I am hoping that everything will work out just fine with no surprises. When I called the wedding coordinator she verbally told me that the sound system was included. I should call her back and get that in writing to share with you guys just in case.

Downa Hewitt... Your right sorry the center piece for multiple tables is extra but the head table center piece is included.

Hi Ladies, I have contacted one of the wedding coordinators at NOW and got some useful information. The Divine package does include the IPod docking station and sound system for the reception along with the ceremony music that you can choose from. English service can be provided by the wedding coordinator if you would like OR you can pay an additional charge of $250.00 you can get a English speaking non legal priest. The basic fountain setup can be included in the wedding package but you wont get the plank walk way and no extra flowers... kinda the bare minimum no matter the package... if you pay the addition $1500.00 then you can get the plank set up with the extra flowers and everything it specifies in the Wedding guide located on the Now Larimar website. The resort emailed me pictures of the setups that can be done I will upload them in a few minutes. This is a random question I asked but I wanted to make sure that they had the same outlets as us and they do Kristen0000- You can find the decorations such as center pieces located on the wedding guide you can download from the Now Larimar website. You automatically get the table linens, chair covers, then whatever your package is it tells you the Now to Eternity choices or Divine. I was going to use the wedding photographer on site but I read poor reviews in one of the forums. I am bringing along my wedding photographer from Windsor all we have to pay is her part of the trip which is a great deal as we get our engagement photos and trash the dress included plus pictures throughout the week which is a steal compared to the prices I have received from photographers in Punta Cana. Also I was told today from the coordinator that if you have an outside photographer its an $150.00 fee as its the "Vendor Fee" not a guess fee or something of the sort, but if you have someone as a quest that's a photographer there is no charge. Hope this information helps some of you:)

Congrats and welcome Chrisdeluca & Smithk70 J I would just buy a calling card and call the resort as that’s how we were able to get a hold of the wedding coordinators. I emailed them over a week ago for information on their wedding packages but no reply as Susan said they are probably really busy. We sent out save the dates just to give everyone a heads up about 4 months ago but if your going to send out invitations right away there’s no use especially if you want to cut back on costs. I was dealing with a Christine at the resort as she is in the wedding department she does Dreams and Now weddings. We just bought an international calling card and called as it seemed to be the best way to get quicker answers. I never read about the hidden costs but I am prepared for it as I’m sure they don’t list everything in their package lists and or if you want to get extras.

Hello everyone, Wedding date: April 24, at 4pm Travel: April 20-27 We contacted the wedding coordinator and we asked about how it works for the symbolic ceremony and they advised that there is a charge for a non-denominational officiate for $500.00 as the Symbol in all the packages has a * if the wedding coordinator performs the ceremony there is no extra charge though this is what we understood from what she said. I believe we are going to pay the extra amount as I think it would seem strange if the wedding coordinator did the vows. We are getting married at city hall and having two friends be our witness for us. I`m so nervous someone will find out… But in my eyes it is the actual wedding at the resort and the city hall part is just documents to complete before we can get married. It makes me feel better thinking that. Wow I’m glad everything worked out with your Visa that would be so stressful! I think it`s awesome we get married on the same dayJ I`m so excited! Cheers.

Hey So far we have 15 people hoping for a couple more for our group and we are dealing with Allison Travel. I am indifferent too for the date we get married, I am hoping that we will get approved for the 23. We will definitely have to meet while we are there:) The fiance and I are arguing over the symbolic legal and renewal of vows... maybe you can answer this. The Legal is you pay 550 or something close to that plus you have to have all documents translated blah blah blah ... then Symbolic you still pay 500 and you get a minister or priest? and renewal of vows is when the wedding coordinator does the wedding and you don't pay the 500? Is that how it works? Do you have your dress already or an idea of what you want yet? How many bridesmaids? Color scheme? I feel so excited and nervous and the time will flyy by! Nice to know we will have some more Canadians there:)
