  1. We chose the riu in ocho rios because we heard they had great wedding packages and were fairly priced for our guests.
  2. I was planning on going barefoot but I am loving these barefoot sandals
  3. I wanted to do fire lanterns before our dinner, however recently found out the Riu doesn't allow them, and no private beach

  5. I remember at one time when I was young and knew "everything" I actually turned down dating a guy because he had a child. If I had made that same choice this time, I would not have met the man of my dreams, the man I will marry. On my wedding day not only will I become a wife, I will also become a stepmom to an eight year old boy. I first met Owen when he was 5. It wasn't always easy at first and I never wanted to force him into liking me. We've been through the phases were he wanted mommy and daddy to be married, despite the fact that they were not together shortly after he was born and mommy has moved on. Through the years I have learned to love this little boy and can't wait to be his stepmom!

  10. Two weeks before final payments were due we sent out reminder postcards. I had them made at vista print, free promo for other things I had printed. I just wrote "we're so glad you will be joining us!! Just a reminder final paymets are due Oct 25!!" All guests were paid on time

  12. Thanks ladies!! We only have 24 guests so that helped keep the cost down. Also trying to be the stress free bride and stay ahead on everything. So far so good

  14. We are planning on doing customized bobbleheads for our cake toppers! Don't have a pic yet.
  15. Proud to say I finished my OOT Bubba Kegs today. Instead of bags, I have stuffed the bubbas with items our guests may need. I prewashed and made name tags from beads to avoid confusion pool/beach side. Each payday I bought one item on my list so it would't be such a big expense!! Here's my list... - 20 oz Bubba Kegs - 50% off at Canadian Tire this summer, purple for the ladies, black for the men -Tide Sink Travel Packs - $2 shopper's - Blue Diamond Salted Almonds (snack packs) - Costco $5 on sale per box 18/box - Trident Gum - Costco $13 for 24 packs - Axe mini body spray $2 each Walmart (men only) - Nail Polish remover Pads - $2.69 Walmart - 6 in each box - Advil mini's - $2 Dollarama - Peacock feather earings -(ladies only) $9 for 12 on Ebay (wedding is peacock theme) - Mini hand sanitizer $1 for 3 pack Dollarama - Individual wrapped razors - free, thanks YMCA enchanced membership LOL - wet wips $1 box of 24 Dollarama - Pepto Bismol $8.98 box of 48 Walmart, cut in strips of 3 - Crystal Light Singles (mixes perfect with water in 20 oz Bubba) $3 per box Walmart, I put 3 different flavours in each mug. - Tums 3 rolls per pack $2.12 Walmart - Avon spf 15 lip balm - $10 for 10 on Ebay Done, Done and Done!!!
  16. I bought one off ebay (just to try) I found it hard to use my camera. Whenever I would turn on my camera, the lens would come out and auto close as soon as it hits the plastic. It is managable...with patience!!
