We got his ring at Gordon's jewelry store in MD. It is a plain tungsten ring that we had custom sized because my FI has huge knuckles. We also had he ring thinned out since tungsten is so heavy (but one of the most durable metals). All in all it was under $300.

Hey. So the room price depends on whether you are a member and time of the year, and if you use an agent or deal directly with Palace Resort for the bookings. There are group benefits for weddings, like the ones listed above that show how you can get unlimited wedding events that will also contribute to giving you free nights and a reduced wedding price. I am not sure about the dispencers. And in order for the rooms to count towards your wedding hey have a minimum of 3 nights, but the guest can book separately in order to only get two nights (I JUST asked Geraldine this question last week). I think everything is messed up because this is what Joannis told me : "As to regards for Zuniga and PSAV, I am going to wait until closer to the day to get an approved quote, and once I do I will send it to you.[Joannis Rodon] As long as you send me the signed copies, we can process payment for that and add it to your proposal so that everything is ordered for you in time, that is fine." "All proposals are to be finalized 30 days prior to your arrival." (Not 45 days? as it says below) Then she said this she I cancelled my civil wedding to a symbolic wedding "I suggest using that money from the civil ceremony fee towards extras (such as what you’ll be purchasing from Katie), as the refund would take quite long for you to receive this back. " Every things to be jumbled up because I have a $300 credit on my room from the civil wedding cancellation and then I have to pay for the outside vendor services before hand? Will my $300 be discounted even though the wedding money and the room money are handled by different people? I find this to be very sketchy. And well, PSAV is actually a well known international company and I would rather pay THEM myself than pay the wedding department. The proposal that I get from the vendors bind ME and the vendors, so why does the wedding department get involved? Hearing how so many people had fraudulent charges on their cards from the resort, I rather just pay the vendors or wait until I get to the resort. I trust the resort more than the wedding department in Miami because they keep on slipping up. I think I am just going to go with the flow and talk to the vendors themselves and wait until I can get in contact with my onsite coordinators who deal with weddings every day.

I was told by a palace member and by Joannis that refunds take between a month or two. If you are a member, I would try and calling member services because they work wayyy faster and and super nice.

But how going to a favor website and seeing what they got? I am doing shot glasses (for the young people and wine glasses for the elders), and making sand glass holder souvenirs. Just think, what would you like to get from a wedding

Hello brides: I wanted to share information. Joannis said that if you wanted to have a sand ceremony, that it would be free if you bring your own items (vases and sand), or $150 if you want them to be supplied by Moon Palace. Hope this is useful!

Hi JessMac. What do you mean by a "meal"? With 60 nights you can get a free private reception dinner if you do/did a group booking. But I believe regardless, you get a reception dinner at one of the restaurants included in the complimentary package

Man, I am terrified about them now since they have my credit card information on file from the booking. I keep on checking my credit card just to make sure, but this was done with a different sale's person so maybe that's the difference. I will wait to pay for anything until I get there, or maybe pay the vendors directly. Does anyone know if paying Zuniga and PSAV directly will cause a problem? I just sent Joanis an email, so I will let you know what she says about it. I mean it's not like they have to do anything extra for it and I have seen tons of people's pictures with a sand ceremony so I can't imagine it costing or costing that much. Also, on the $250 for decoration set up, I found a loophole. If you are having Zuniga decorate or bring flowers for you, they said they would do small decoration set up for you (since they already charge a set up fee for their items). I asked to have favours put, napkins, candle holders and fans, and they are doing my center pieces and they said they wouldn't charge me anything extra... I am not saying it would happen to everyone, but it would be good to talk to Zuniga and see if they could help you out. It does feel like they try to nickle and dime you, but I mean, I am having a "free wedding" so I guess I can't blame them. I am just trying to find loopholes for all of this You may want to ask your coordinator if they can give you a second microphone since the ceremony only comes with one microphone and it seem you are having more than one person singing... But it would be so lovely if you have someone sing I wish I had someone that could do the ceremony for me.. but what can you do.
