  4. Dominique161 I really do not know how to use this forum!! Been trying to reply to you and it doesnt seem to post my comments! We have booked with our travel agent now, leaving uk on 24th april 2013 and returning back on the 8th may 2013 so we should see each other! We have had to change our wedding date because Thomas Cook have been an absolute pain, we have now requested 30th April 2013, fingers crossed we get it. Hope your planning is going well, we cant really do any more planning until we get our wedding pack through from Thomas Cook I hate not being organised!! Robyn x
  5. Has anyone got any photos of the seaside grill as a reception location. I have seen photos of the seaside grill when it is set up normally but would really like to see any pictures when it is decorated for a reception. Or if anyone has had their reception at this venue. Thanks
  6. Sorry have had so much going on! We have finally booked our holiday with Thomas cook and our in the process of confirming our wedding date! Looking at 30th April! I am going 2 do everything through the travel agent as I can get answers the same day and they are giving me so many options. I really would like to have our reception at the seaside grill but cannot find any photos of other receptions there? It's so hard 2 imagine it with the round tables etc when u see it as a day time restaurant on the Internet. Please let me know if you come across anything Also let me know if I can help you in anyway Robyn x

We need to book our holiday by the end of Friday and Evangelina hasn't replied to me about reserving our wedding day. I cannot book with our travel agent until she has confirmed if the date we want is available. Many thanks
  9. J Just wondering how you watch your wedding slide show? Don't seem to be able to get into it? Is the seaside grill better for the reception then the pool deck ? Not sure where to have it? Can you have dancing there as well? Hope to see your pictures The other brides have put links on so just click to view slideshow. Personally we think it is better at the seaside grill as it seems more personal where the tables are set up around the dancefloor rather than on the deck where the dance floor is at one end and the tables next to it. Just our opinion, each to their own! Good luck
  10. Also I have emailed Evangelina saying we want the reception at the seaside grill and she didnt mention anything about paying extra for this location, however I read on the forum that you have to pay extra for this?
  11. Can anyone tell me if this is right... Just had an email back from Evangelina detailing that just to hire the sound system for an hour is $200. and for the DJ on top an extra $300. So if our reception is 3 hours long the cost for music will be $1500?

  13. CONGRATULATIONS !!!! Your whole wedding looked amazing. We have now definitely decided on the Seaside Grill for our reception after watching your slide show. Can I ask the timings of your day. We really want the ceremony late afternoon and then a break and then the cocktail hour to start just as it starts to get dark. I know that it will be slightly different as we are getting married in may but would be nice to get an idea. Again you and the whole wedding looked fantastic! Thanks Robyn

  16. Also, I am unsure as for times of the day. We will be getting married the very end of may, and we want the ceremony to be in daylight and photos, however we would like to have our cocktail hour when it just starts getting dark as we are having the fire dancers. Does anyone know what times would be best????? Thank you x

  19. We have been sent the credit card authorisation form from Evangelina at DRC but she also wants photocopies of our credit card? I have never known this before? Want to make sure everyone else has done the same before I give my details away! Please let me know if this is right Thanks

We definitely want it outside but would like to see pictures of the various choices e.g deck by the beach, the beach, by the pool under the wooden bar thing? Also I haven't managed to get an answer from Evangelina, I'm not sure if she understands what I am asking. I'm not sure if you can help ? We want to have the Ultimate wedding package for 40 people. What does the gold dinner party include? Is it the whole reception (meal, venue, dance floor/area, DJ)? Thanks so much for your help I'm sure I will be contacting you again soon!   23. Hi, congratulations! No I haven't got in contact with anyone at DRC yet, as still trying to organise family and friends at home and who is definitely coming. I think we have definitely decided that DRC is the hotel for us. I know people have stayed there and it sounds perfect for what we would like, it is smaller than the Riu Palace Cabo and a bit more modern which suits us better. They both look stunning but I think as they are both large hotels we will have problems with communication with the wedding coordinator. Just a little bit of advice that someone gave to me. April/may/June are the busiest months for weddings, so u need to book the date of your wedding in the next couple of months with the hotel. Otherwise you may not get the day that you want. Please let me know how you get on.
  24. Hi ladies, we are planning to get married in may 2013 at DRC . there are so many questions I have ! We know of certain things we want for the day but don't know how to go about organising everything. We have also heard that the wedding planner from DRC is not that good. We have heard about an amazing wedding planner called Tara. However we Are on a budget! Has anyone got married at the DRC recently who can answer some of my questions? Thanks x
