We are going for a week and staying at and getting married at dreams. Our trip was around 3500.00 a couple with airflights of $600 each in an junior ocean suite. That is all inclusive price for 7 nights. That would run about 325 a night or so. They do run a promo for every 5 rooms booked you get 1 free. For every person that does not stay there you have to pay a $99 per person day fee. They do not deal on wedding packages the price is the price. They will not exchange things out either, for what I have found.

We will be getting married when we get back home. We wanted to be married there and looked at having legal earlier and doing symbolic at normal time with family and friends. But the extra expense of about 1000.00 and having to be there at least 4 days ahead changed our mind. To us it wasn't worth spending the money.

Ok for those who have already gotten married at Dreams resort....We are planning on doing a couple of excursions when we are there, I am wondering how much time before the wedding do you have to plan on meeting ahead for detail info. we will arrive on wednesday morning and we get married friday night. Would we be able to do something on thursday or do I need to leave that open for the hotel? Thanks a bunch.

Have you tried going to a bridal shop and ask about there clearance discontinued dresses? I know that one in a town nearby me had quite a few dresses under 99.00

Wow they would have been out of my budget also!!! I got Juan carlos Tapia. He was 2500 for 4 hours or 3100 for 5 hours. I get everything on a dvd afterwards to do whatever I want with them. He is doing 2-3 hours the day of then the next day we are doing a trash the dress session and it was all included for that price. Our wedding is really small 6 guests total and with wedding party and us it is a total of 11 people. So I ended up not doing the reception and doing cocktail hour after the wedding with appetizers and cake and cocktails. Then later all go to restaurant and eat. I did price DJ Ricardo and that is who I would have went with if the wedding would have been bigger. It is amazing how fast it all adds up tho!

I know I have read that the dreams beach is not a swimmable beach. Where do you have to walk to again to use there beach and how far is it? Thanks

Ok ladies, We are reserved for our wedding at Dreams. My question is for those who have already had there weddings, we are having a small wedding with 1 attendant on each side and a jr bridesmaid. Guest list will be anywhere from 10-20 people. Are we better off going with the small package that they offer or am I better off getting flowerist and stuff on my own?
