Ok guys I am going to chirp in here for a second. I know some of you want to skimp in this area and I feel it is a huge mistake! You may spend 1000-5000 on a dress, $800-2000 on flowers, couple hundred on makeup and hair for yourself, food another $50 a plate or better and cake 10.00 a person but you want to go cheap in this area. When your wedding day is over and you get home from your vacation what is it that you use for many, many years to remember your wonderful and beautiful day with? It is you're wedding pictures. Your better off cutting your budget on other things and do this right!

I was quoted $665.00 to do my hair and makeup, maid of honor hair and makeup and my flower girls hair and touch of makeup and to do my hair and makeup for trash the dress session from Neysa. It cost me $300.00 for the same from Alma!

Yes I did book Alma! She did a fantastic job. She does the makeup and has another gal that does the hair. She is sooooooo much cheaper than the other 2 and comes to your hotel room also. She came back a few days later and did my hair and makeup for the trash the dress session also.

I went through Apple Vacations, for us it was cheaper than going through Wright TA. I had another couple that flew out of Pheonix and Teresa was cheaper for them. However in the midwest Apple books charter flights and that was by far cheaper.

Well I ended up booking Alma Vallejo for our hair and makeup in Cabo. She did an awesome job on everything and everybody! She came to our resort and was wonderful and pleasant. She was a fraction of the cost from Neysa and Suzanne. She charged $110.00 per person for hair and airbrush makeup both with 11% tax fee on top of that. But I was not charged a travel fee or 18% gratuity fee. She charged me $30.00 to do my daughter's hair and did a little makeup on her. We just got back from Cabo on Wednesday. We got married at Dreams Resort last friday. Yessica was our wedding cordinator and she was fabulous! I can't say enough about her.The resort was awesome everyone was so friendly and helpful. Customer service was A+. We can't wait to go back in a year for our anniversary!

I am wondering the same thing! I get married at dreams in 2 weeks and was just going to have salon there do it, but now I am second guessing it. I have checked with suzanne morel and got her prices. It would cost $60.00 more for me if I went to her salon for the hair and makeup over dreams. I looked into Alma Vallejo who is alot cheaper and she comes to the resort, she is about the same price as the resort but I can't find much info about her.

Has anyone on here used Airbrush bridal & Occasion Makeup by Alma Vallejo? I can't find any reviews on her but she is quite a bit cheaper than Neysa and Suzanne. With our wedding in just 2 weeks I need to get this figured out! Thanks for your help.

I just found this thread and thought I would comment. My situation is different then most, see I am a professional photographer! Obviously portraits are very important to me. With that being said I also still do have a budget. We decided that we wanted a destination wedding so I actually went looking for photographers first before deciding where we where going to get married. Kinda weird I know! I ran across 3 excellent photographers in cabo. So then started to check out pictures of Cabo, instantly fell in love with the rock formations and the arch. I found this forum next and then started looking at resorts. I loved the architecture at dreams resort and read all the great reviews and decided to book dreams. So then I went back to the 3 photographers I liked and got prices. One was clear put of my budget. Loved there stuff but no way I wanted to spend that. The other 2 were really similar in pricing, but different styles. I ended up going with Juan Carlos Tapia. He has been awesome to work with! I asked him for tons of ideas on different things and he sent me different examples from other weddings that I could see. He has always been awesome in communicating back and forth with me. A lot of things changed in our wedding from beginning till now and has been great. We are having a very small wedding of 9-11 people. So we decided to not do a reception at all, instead after the wedding we will have a small cocktail hour right there in the same spot. We will finish up formal photographs and then do a cutting of the cake and first dance for portrait and video. After that is all done the group of us are going to the formal restaurant in the hotel for sit down meal. Since we had booked juan for 5 hours originally we decided to do a trash the dress and romantic shoot of the 2 of us the next day. I really wanted to do some photographs by the rocks and the arch. Since our wedding is on a Friday, he suggested we wait till Monday to do the extra session to avoid all the extra people on the beaches! He didn't charge us anything extra for doing this second day and he is even picking us up at the hotel and taking us to those different places. He has been awesome to work with and I can't wait for our wedding day to come in 44 days!

I just got an email from Magda that she will be gone for our wedding so she is turning me over to Yesica. Has anyone else dealt with her. It kinda of upsets me since we have been booked with them for a year now.

Do you have an idea on when you want to get married? May, june, July or you thinking next sept? Do you want to get married on a Friday or sat or day of the week?

I am about same size and curvy also, I have big boobs and hips. Sucks! It is what it is, I have been working out alot lately to try and get rid of the hips. Anyway. I tried a morilee dress on and it was so flattering! I think you should look at this as an option also. It is style 3117.

Does anyone have a recommendation between babyline and jasmines? I was all set to go with jasmines and looked at babyline and the exact dress was $140 cheaper. This is not either of our first weddings, so I don't want to spend a bunch. But i do want it to look very nice! We will use it day of the wedding for about 4 hours then doing a trash the dress session next day for probably an hour. It is a very small wedding with only about 10 of us there.
