So yesterday my invites (the printed portion) came in from Vistaprint. They look amazing and were designed by a good graphic designer friend of mine. I'm planning on putting them together this weekend after I pick up the last few things I need to finish them. I'll post pics when they're done. I have had a few calls/texts over the last few days asking for our TA's info (which I gave to everyone months ago mutiple times, but whatever). At least that means people are starting to book. However, both of our parents and one of my aunts and her kids decided they wanted to come in a day earlier than what's included in the wedding contract. I'm praying that it doesn't screw things up. Our TA is on it though. Things are progressing now and I feel a lot better.

Thanks ladies for letting me know that I'm not going crazy! I was wondering how anyone can operate being so stressed the whole time. Now, I'm anxiously waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel. I've made some progress since then so that helps a ton. We have the contract for our caterer for our AHP and made a decision about the photographer, so I'm feeling a lot better about that. I also found some ideas for centerpieces on here for the reception using the paper lantern boxes. I think we may go with that or a version of it. Today, I got an email from Vistaprint that my invites were shipped early, so I'm loving them! I wasn't expecting them until next week and according to UPS tracking, I should have them Thursday. Sounds like I may be having an invitation party this weekend!

I don't know of either person, but there was a delay in getting the signed contracts back when I went through it. It took about a month, I think. Apparently, they have to send it to the actual resort to get it signed there and then it comes back to Miami and then back to you. I just contacted my Miami person, Michelle Farinas and she explained everything to me. Hope this helps!

So we're at less than five months until our wedding and I feel like I have absolutely nothing done! We booked at the resort and all that, I have my dress and shoes (though I want another pair) and our invitations have been ordered. I just feel so behind. I feel like there's so many decisions to make. Plus all of the things for the AHP! Ok, I'm just being dramatic. I am truly feeling pressured right now. It's busy season at work (I'm an accountant), so I'm working close to 60 hours a week. So much to do and so little time. I have some family drama going on and NO ONE HAS BOOKED!!!! Does everyone feel like this at one point during wedding planning?! So I'll be up tonight trying to get this to do list organized and working on things...

These look so cute! I saw some online somewhere (though I don't remember where) that included some the words already, but you just circle the word you want to use. Matter of fact, they may have been thank you notes. I love the idea. I'm sure your guests will have a great time filling these out while they wait for your arrival.

These are cute! I checked out the site thank you and Coco for the referral. I think they will work just fine as a souvenir for our OOT bags. Where did you get the first aid kits? I was thinking of including first aid type things in the OOT bags, but I wasn't sure how to package them. Love these! I wish I was going so I could get one. Redo? Ha ha! These are very pretty! I may be stealing this idea! This does sound like a great idea. I'm definitely not using the resort for my bridesmaid bouquets and was thinking of going the silk flower route. This sounds like a good idea though. So does this mean you will be putting together your bouquets yourself at the resort?

I actually found out who makes them. They're Manolos, but no sandal so far. I'm thinking they won't make them either. They didn't make a sandal out of the ones from the Sex & the City movie, so I'm not really holding onto hope. I actually bought shoes before I got my dress and now I don't think they'll go right. I'm in search for something else, but everything that I like is sold out in my size or suede (which I'm definitely not wearing in June in Mexico.) I'm still looking though.

Did any of you purchase wedding insurance? I was reading about it and curious if anyone does this.

Ditto that! I was drooling in the movies and started googling as soon as I left. I want a sandal though. I hope they come out with a sandal in a similar design.

Okay, so now I'm nervous! I was planning on going with the photographers they provide because of the no outside vendors rule, but now I'm nervous. The pictures are so important to me! Where can I look to see some sample pictures from the MP photographers?

I contacted a few travel agents instead of booking directly with them. She was able to handle the calling and calling to get a response. Just so you know, the response time isn't the quickest or at least as fast as I liked. My travel agent pitched in to handle to changes to the wedding contract too.

According to our wedding group contract, the only bookings that qualify towards the group perks are with our travel agent or the resort directly with our group number.
