  4. I was watching a youtube and found a great idea from skinMe. I'm thinking about bringing these mini cupcake bath fizzies and lotion bars with us a centerpieces. What do you guys think? I started out microwaving cocoa butter I bought from Coastalscents.com until they became a liquid form I mixed it with grape seed oil (coastal scent), coconut milk powder (bulkfoods.com), and neon powder colorant (wholesalesupplies.com) I wanted a purple color but mixing berry dye with cocoa butter seem to turn the lotion bars into a greenish color Here's how they looked after they hardened I used meringue powder (Michaels), powdered sugar, water, and colorant to make the rock hard icing. I bought a chinese take out box from Michaels and stuffed it with tissue paper and viola..... my centerpiece. I'm also making bath fizzies either in cupcake form or cookie cutter shape. I used corn starch, citric acid (bulkfoods.com), oatmeal, grape seed oil, olive oil, epsom salt and sprayed it with witch hazel. Let me know what you all think...
  5. Was just wondering if anyone is planning on getting married in Guanacaste area in September or have been married around there in September? Could anyone tell me about the weather around that time? Ive been checking and it says its the rainy season but Guanacaste is suppose to be the driest part of the country. Does anyone have any experience with this place and time of year?
  6. I only had to make 50 of these. It took me about 3 days to finish everything. But im also a bit craft challenged so it took me a bit longer to get the boarding pass right and emboss.
  7. Thanks to everyone on this site, I got so much pointers for my boarding pass save the dates. First, I used http://www.ayleebits.com/templates.htm for the boarding pass templates. Then I bought 1 pack of Aspire Petallics Snow Willow card stock and 1 pack of Stardream Ruby card stock. The Ruby cardstock was used for the boarding pass sleeves. I wouldnt recommend using the Ruby card stock for the sleeves because they were a little too thick. I also got silver metallic envelopes. I bought everything from www.lcipaper.com Here are some pictures of my drafts. There's holes in them because I was trying to figure out where to position the brads. I embossed the sleeves and wrapped raffia ribbon around them. You cant really tell but the silver metallic envelope is in the back. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

  10. My FI and I have decided to get married in Costa Rica in September 2012. We decided to go with RIU Guanacaste. I was wondering if anyone else is getting married there or have been married there and what they thought of it.
  11. Hi Amanda + Dave I was just wondering about the villa you got. How many days did you get it for and thru which website did you get the booking? Does 550 a person include flight as well? Thanks in advance!
