Hi Amycuz My wedding is right around the corner, we leave on Jan 27th. I too haven't heard from Ana in over a month and it's definitely making me nervous. I don't have all the answers for you but here is what I can tell you. My understanding is that a welcome dinner can be booked at the a la cartes, but there is a fee for a group larger than say eight people. Ana can book you a welcome/rehearsal dinner at the buffet for no charge. Just let her know when you'd like this. I am bringing my own centerpieces and decor as well. I was told by other brides that Ana or her staff will put these out for you (but I have two people travelling in my group prepared to do this as back up) I don't know about the table cloth options. You can definitely bring your own decorateions for your cake and the resort/Ana will put these on for you. When you arrive at the resort, Ana will send you information about when you will meet with her to finalize options. This is usually the day after you arrive. You can hang paper lanterns on the lobby terrace, but you will need Ana to rent a large pole to attach them to (I had also asked, but I would be renting the lanterns from her or her party supplier). There may be a fee for the pole set up, but she can definitely arrange - she said she could even do this for me once I arrive at the resort if I make it as a last minute decision... Hope that helps.

Does anyone know if the resort can supply extension cords? I would assume so, but just want to be safe. My fiance and I are bringing a few digital photo frames down and I just want to make sure they will be able to be plugged in on the lobby terrace. The projector and screen rental is about $350 through the resort, so we prefer to just bring our own digital frames to play slideshows and pictures around the reception.

Thanks @ajhutch! I really love the lit paper lanterns hanging across the lobby terrace like @sandyborie used! That is absolutely stunning (I recopied her video link below for those who haven't seen her videography). My fiancee and I aren't using a planner, but I was wondering if anyone knows... does Ana have lit paper lanterns that we could rent from the resort, OR, if I brought my own - would she or the staff hang them for me? Also - any suggestions on where to buy these types of round paper lanterns to hang? Leah ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi girls! I just got my wedding highlight video and OMG!!!! I felt the need to share just how magical OCT was!!!!! Here is the link: https://vimeo.com/50983766 We went with Paul Schrank from Playaweddings. . .They did an amazing job and not once did I or my husband feel like we were being video taped. Everything he captured was completely authentic. Worth looking into if you are in the market for a true professional!

Sandy - amazing video. You can truly feel what a beautiful day it was for the two of you. Question to all brides who have been to OCT- I'd like more of a private ceremony and currently have the Rooftop Terrace booked. I'm battling between it and the lobby terrace. My only concern with the lobby terrace is that the aisle seems to be a pretty short one and we each have 5 attendants.. not sure there is enough room. (We have a total of 60 guests) Thanks for any advice you could offer between the terraces for the best ceremony site. Oh and our reception will be on the lobby terrace For other new brides.. This is the rooftop terrace: This is the lobby terrace:

Hi friends, Regarding the menu options - I understand we are only allowed to pick one menu for the whole gropu. But does anyone know if we can subsittue a few people for the Vegetarian menu? I hope that there wouldn't there be an extra cost for our Vegetarian guests to have a non-meat meal? Thanks -Leah

Toritrad- I have the same questions about tipping. We are spending a lot of money on the wedding options, but not sure we can afford a 20% tip on the total bill... We are going to do what we can, but thought we'd give a few hundred dollars to Ana for her help as well as something to the bartenders so our guests don't have to tip. (we are bringing our own officiant) Does anyone else want to share their thoughts on gratuities? I'd love to hear
