Should you have Judge or Minister? In Mexico Cancun-Riviera Maya you can have either Legal or Symbolic, unfortunately in many resorts does´t give the opportunity to meet your minister or judge and personalize the ceremony , please ask your coordinator the name of your minister and many of them are open to you for contacting them and make something very personal. I have the pleasure to meet and work with very flexible and experienced Ministers that are always responsive and very professional, for religious christian ceremonies I recommend Mr. Enrique or Adrian Monroy , they are english speaking, affordable and very formal . If you are looking for something more symbolic less religious Miss Roxana Fernandez is the option , she is great and sweet many resorts book her with anticipation and you can email her special moments or scripts.Finally the best judge for legal ceremonies in the area is Estela Sanchez she is great and easy to work for the paperwork and flexible ...she is open to make some adjustments in the actual speech always keeping the "legal" part.Just remember that for legal ceremony paperwork will be requested: Passports , tourist card , divorce decree(if apply), blood test and Judge payment .Symbolic or Religious ceremonies: NO paper work at all The ceremony is the whole reason because it is the actual "wedding moment" it should be beautiful and emotive...See the pictures below of some of them... . Dear Pink Parrot: We had tha party once for 150 people at Now Sapphire...I guess their 2 main locations worked perfectly . I would recommend the BEACH TERRACE for dancing because is concret floor, also some brides like better the TEQUILA for their wedding night, I guess for the roof. It is very important that if you will have another event beside your wedding you ask Ramon or Anel blocked the section ...eventhough you dont have further details they should at least block the area for you. I also like alot the Pool Preffered area,,,it has a Bali beds and enough area for dancing,...They rent that Pool...I love the Bali Beds there ,,,you may use that area for your Mehndi , I just love it. Dear Heather: You will find alot of options IN Cancun that can sell you flowers not all of them are good or formal ...I will get you alist with the flowershops (GOOD and Punctual). My concern is that when you contact them sometimes their english is not very fluent.. Let me get you that list Thank you

Now is so pretty resort! How large is your wedding? If you need assistance to select the wedding location at the Now , you let me know!! Please if you need any assistance or need specific services like Mahndi Ceremony(henna artist), Indian DJ and most important GOOD Indian food let me know! I have worked with one of the best Indian Chefs in town , he is so nice and patient his name is Gulab, and he import all the spices for the food, overall he has wedding experience... Dear Heather : Yes , you are right ...If the florist drop directly to YOU the flowers, it should NOT be a problem, if the centerpieces need to be "set" they may charge you for a vendor fee , but BELIEVE me even paying that vendor fee you would save a lot. I work with a floral designer that only work for events and give very good pricing and I love their flowers because they are good quality . Please feel free to email me [email protected] some of your bouquets and I can get a quotation for you.He is not englsih speaker , he usually is "backstage" for that reason, He gives good prices and good design.He studied many years in Mexico City . Well , Yes I said "provide" but they charge you 20 usd per witness...but it has been helpful with many couples in the past

Dear Scorpio Love: The legal ceremony it is easier than everyone think , the wedding coordinator handle everything ; he-she will request a meeting with you and your 4 witnesses upon arrival (the 6 of you should be there with your passports and tourist card), the tourist card is gotten at the airport . Then during the meeting you all will sign the marriage request papers and also coordinator will make you an appointment to do blood test($250 usd paid in cash in Now Sapphire othe resorts change the fee). You should take 50 usd for the judge in the wedding day! NOTE: You must be there at least 4 days before the wedding THAT'S IT ! Exceptions: IF the bride is divorced they will need divorce decree and birth certificate (translation can be done with the coordinator) . IF any bride or groom are Mexican , they will need an special permission from migration office and state. IF both Mexican requirements are easy : Birth certificate, IFE Id , State permission. Please let me know if you have specific questions about that.

Hi , Yes your witnesses should be with you because they must sign the papers in advance and on the wedding day. They will be requested of their passports and tourist card...If you cant travel with your witnesses the resort can provide you witnesses. All witnesses should be over 18 ...their signature is very important. Let me know if you may have further questions Sandy

Although the real candles looks soooo pretty I highly suggest take battery candles with you , wind never let the candles lighted ........for decoration I suggest use battery candles...in both locations Tequila Terrace or Beach Terrace is windy .

Dear 82turtles and Rfinger : Both locations are great,some people like the idea of the roof by the Tequila Terrace but not very good for dancing at leat not in high heels .... The beach terrace give you more privacy because it is apart from the Restaurants area...the inly little issue is that restrooms are not close... check picture below , this wedding was at the beach terrace with buffet service and private bar.
