Congratulations on your recent wedding! Are you still feeling the wedding high? Your photos are beautiful, and your review's been very helpful, thank you. I'm a Toronto bride-to-be, patiently waiting for the Suites WC to confirm our ceremony date and I've done a lot of research on the Iberostar properties but was hoping you could help answer a couple of questions. The steakhouse you had your reception at - is that Aunt Ruby's? Is there just one steakhouse for the three properties? It's an option for a Suites reception too, so I'm confused if it's one in the same or if there are two different steakhouses. I'm considering the steakhouse for our reception - love the idea of outdoor dining - but I have to ask, what was the weather like? I've read it's quite hot and humid at this time of year - is it like Toronto summer humidity? Better? Worse? If it's the same (or worse) not sure I or my groom could handle it wearing a gown and suit, lol. Thanks in advance! Sarah

Oh no, how frustrating! I sent Nicole at the Suites a follow-up email this morning, asking in the subject line for her to confirm we're set for the date. We're looking at an early Dec 2012 date so we'd really like to send out STDs this month. Good luck...to us both! Hi, and congratulations! I actually just replied to your Q re: confirmation waiting times. Not sure what strategy to use here...<sigh> How often are you contacting the Suites? Are you getting anything from them?

I've been waiting about two weeks for my date to be confirmed by the Suites. Very anxious over here too. I don't want to bug the WC as I know she's busy but all I need is a "yes, you're confirmed" email...hopefully soon. How long have you been waiting?

Hi all, I'm new and wanted to introduce myself. We got engaged in September and we've *almost* decided on our destination - it's down to Jamaica and DR. Just waiting to hear back from the WC's on date availability...and trying to be patient. These forums have been an incredible resource so far - thank you! - but wow, getting used to 'island time' is anxiety-inducing. Hi all, I'm a newbie - this is my first post! I'm interested in getting married at the Iberostar in late 2012 and would appreciate it if someone could share Nicole's email address, as I understand she's the WC at the Suites (my preferred property). Before I get too far along with pricing it out (or getting excited!) I need to find out what dates are available in late Nov/early Dec. I've also read that most (all?) of you have had trouble getting a response from Nicole - is there another way to find out available dates? Thanks for your help! Sjay
